Why are you complaining? I have yet to see you banned

cuz i often get infractions for going off topic on serious threads and writing text lang, by mods etc

Little sis: The reason for that is, outside the "members club," it's not about who knows more, or who has more knowledge about an event, the ability to argue a certain point or a particular event, rather it's an amalgamation of all that and years of experience of similar events in one individuals life, which aids in arguing a certain point effectively, and becomes much easier to convey in ones comments. This all is the summation of experiences of that individual, which in turn defines him as a person.

Sometimes when you get angry, and don't understand things that other elders are saying, is not about your age, rather that you are short on those particular experience. As you grow, it will become less and less frustrating.

I Object! i see somtimes,mostly the old members who have been contributing to forums with "long posts" on serious threads, are often given a free hand in going off topic,joking around etc....while some are infracted right away for doing the same!

Please keep the rules for everybody,if they are introduced for every member on PDF....why this discrimination?

Btw, webby, what's up with that "Senior Cafe" thingi.... open my access....

I second this HTTPS feature, I know PDF server is very secure, but PDF users are not, they could be a victim of the Fed/govt if their communications are intercepted.

@WebMaster, I have a few things to share which I often feel should be here at PDF:

1) Since Youtube is banned in Pakistan since quite some time, almost every video related to Pakistan affairs is shared at local Pakistani video sharing sites, especially at Tune.pk - There should be some option to embed Tune.pk videos here. There are a couple of other similar sites, but Tune.pk almost covers up everything. It will be great to have it integrated at PDF. I don't know how but Tune.pk is supported at facebook, so you should look for its API or something..

2) I've seen a couple of times here when members have embedded some Tweets here in their posts. I am yet to figure out how to do that.

3) Last thing is related to point 2. If we can have Social Media Share functionality enabled at posts or at least at thread level. It will be easier for us to share / quote things from PDF to social media sites with ease. I felt its need several times while having a discussion at facebook. It will also help bring more traffic to PDF via social networking sites..
