Suggest a Laptop

My Laptop battery is refusing to work anymore I would try to get batter replaced but if that doesn't turn out to be a feasible option than I would go for new laptop so please suggest a new laptop. And my only use is internet, so keep that in mind.

My price range is around 55000 Pakistani RS.
Go for a second hand HP workstation

ASUS is good and not easy to be broken. HP is not good though, not a tough machine I would say, particularly if you never turn off the laptop.
Bad experience with durability of ASUS laptops
They are not made for power users to put it lightly :D

I will recommend ASUS one for if you want to use for Graphic design and Gaming along with usual Internet stuff .
Their moving parts arent that good compared to HP and Dell

well can't comment on that, but moving parts at least in Karachi are easy to acquire .. there are multiple markets to look into .

Easy to acquire but compared to ho,dell dell they are not that durable

ASUS laptops do look good and give bang for the buck performance wise but they are not as durable

Can confirm as I use a dell workstation as my main rig right now
I have dropped it and slammed it while there was a mouse on my keyboard
Khota set hy boss :D

All the kids worried about durability should buy a tough book. We have been using Panasonic Tough book ...well that may be out of many people's access but a cheaper version can be owned as low as US$1500 and believe it.. it will pass all your durability requirements... Look at options from DELL and HP mainly - long lasting and easy to maintain.

Apple Macbook series is very good as well, if you are able to find one in a decent price. I can give you pointers in this regard, if you want to take a look.

Avoid others.

Here in Germany people often claim that HP laptops often have a cooling fan problem, how true is it from your point of view?
I have not used HP personally but HP and Lenovo are the market leaders i.e. bot have around 22 and 24% market shares respectively while Dell is at 3rd spot after HP..so you can imagine HP produces are a lot of models for many different price points and markets so it is very difficult say for all the models but yes in some models, it was the problem because they compete with Lenovo and often hurry to market with better specs on paper and at a cheaper price than Lenovo so they some times overlook quality controls.
