My Laptop battery is refusing to work anymore I would try to get batter replaced but if that doesn't turn out to be a feasible option than I would go for new laptop so please suggest a new laptop. And my only use is internet, so keep that in mind.

My price range is around 55000 Pakistani RS.

I think you would need to increase your budget to around Rs 85000 to get a decent laptop. Till then get a new battery for your current laptop. BTW, what are your needs?

I got myself the: hp 15-ay070wm 15.6" RealTree Xtra Camo Laptop

Specs:
1TB Hard Drive
Windows 10 Home
Intel Pentium N3700 processor
4GB memory

Now this laptop was never released (here) in the UAE (commercially). But there were a few pieces available in the Computer Market (Bur Dubai).

Price in USA: $308.oo/- (PKR 47,897.oo/-)

I got it for: AED 1,050.oo/- (PKR 44,455.oo/-)

If you're just looking for Browsing the .net (PDF, YouTube, Facebook etc.), its great.

Now i've done all my Video Editing of 2019 on this machine, which is...okay. But I wish I had a better or more powerful machine.

However, my budget was tight too & I just liked that it was sponsored by REALTREE.

Are you earning something from this laptop? If yes than go for dell 5500 series(will cost around 90k something). If you are not earning anything from this laptop, than go for any HP series. I think you can get cheaper ones in Rs 55000.
Please buy a new one, and use it fully for one year, takeh Jo chez kharab hony wali ho woh sal main kharab hojaey or warranty main cover hojaey.
I personally like dell 7700 series. Paisy jama kerraha hon usi k liay.

I would stay from Sony .. bad personal experience twice

make sure its ddr4 not ddr3 and also make sure if bios can support ssd as AHCI and you will see the performance.:yahoo:

also, if you can build hackintosh laptop will be cheaper and you can dual boot with Mac and windows or even install android and linux if you want.:smitten:

Sony stopped making laptops many many years ago..
I personally use Apple's Macbook Pro but my favorite ones on Windows are Dell XPS and Lenovo Carbon but those are a bit expensive i.e. mid range .. not the budget options.. through respectable mentions are Asus, Acer, Razor, HP, Toshiba etc

Toshiba is definitely for Battery timing , heard ASUS one's are good for Gaming as well .. I wanted to buy a 70-80K Gaming Laptop but i made a PC around 50-60K which is much powerful in my opinion .
