Religious extremism and sectarianism is a conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan: Altaf Hussain

Attend the Sufiya-e-Kiram conference and tell the world that the people of Pakistan believe in religious tolerance, harmony and respect humanity
The founder and leader of MQM Mr. Altaf Hussain has said that religious extremism and sectarianism is a conspiracy to destabilize Pakistan. He added that elements who are carrying out massacres in the name of religion are open enemies of Pakistan and its people.
Mr. Hussain expressed these views while talking to MQM office bearers in Punjab House Lahore. Office bearers informed him about the preparation for the Sufiya-e Kiram conference. They told him about their public contact campaign in connection the conference.
“People who struggle against injustices face difficulty and challenges. People who remain steadfast against repressive forces for their mission and purpose meet with success. Difficulties and challenges should not discourage MQM workers. They should continue their struggle with determination, “ Mr. Hussain said.
“Sufis, saints and scholars have rendered valuable services for the propagation of Islam and service of humanity. MQM is holding Sufiya-e-Kiram Conference to highlight the services of these great people, “ Mr. Hussain said.
Mr. Hussain made an appeal to scholars belonging to all sects, clerics, zakeerin, political and religious leaders, intellectuals, journalists, members of human and women rights organizations, students and people belonging to other walks of life to attend th I Sufiya-e-Kiram conference and tell the world that the people of Pakistan believe in religious tolerance, harmony and respect humanity.
He praised the workers for their hard work for making arrangement of the Sufiya-e-Kiram Conference. He prayed for their safety and determination.
