I know that buddy, the problem is not about the religion, it is about influence of ISI in the Bollywood. Rest of the things are ongoing. because this has started to happen that people are now pointing towards Hinduism.

For lunch, I want a consomme with a dry Sherry, fish Meuniere with a Chablis, chicken with white wine and garlic, with a dry-ish Chardonnay, or perhaps, better still, a Riesling, pork chops and roasted vegetables with a Shiraz, a creme brulee with Tokay or a good, mid-range Sauterne (I wouldn't strain credibility by asking for a Chateau Yquem), and cheese with the port wine (actually, I have a 20 year old tawny Hunters which I can throw in, although I was saving it up for the day when the two minkees return from Emory).

After lunch, we can talk about this radical shift that you are proposing. I'm not saying yes, and I'm not saying no.....

Dinner is normally a light meal, and let's keep it that way. Let's say, a cream of Broccoli soup, with a sweet Sherry (Cockburn's Pale Cream if at all it can be had), tune Nicoise salad, with orange sauce, with a cointreau (yes, yes, I know, no liqueurs during the meal, but think of the cointreau suddenly meeting the orange sauce!), a poached sole with a white Bordeaux, tournedos Rossini with Burgundy (might I hope for a Nuits St George?), and a trifle with a Madeira, I think.

There's a reason why rapist babas are not called just rapists.

Babas(champion of their religion) are supposed devoid of all sins, so when they commit a crime, it becomes more profound than an ordinary man who conmits the same crime.

I'm not saying when an ordinary man commits a rape it becomes any less crime than a baba who rapes. However the baba is guily of mutiple crimes here - rape, hypocrisy, cheating his followers, maligning the religion etc. So calling him just baba doesn't cut it.

I agree with this particular argument. But it is our fault as well, if we allow crooks to ascend. Also the lack of a hierarchy in the Dharmic faiths like Hinduism means anyone can claim anything. Not that I want a Hindu institution that would mirror the clergy of Abrahamic faiths.

How about believing in god and not following any religion? That there is a god, but there is no need for following any religion or custom to reach him? Just live a life without harming anyone, doing good to others and it'l be good for you. Whats your opinion on that?

Bollywood does not decide anything, it just shows us what it (i.e the filmmakers) thinks. Its up to the people decide!

And the society is becoming weak, because the people in it are just pathetic. We may have moved miles and miles forward in terms of technology and science, and on the other end, we are moving full speed in the reverse gear.
