Su-30MKI jets to visit Sri Lanka

.
Oh please. The only PAF 'need' was low cost. The reason china isn't buying it is not because it isn't suited to 'their needs'. simply put, cost cutting has sacrificed a lot and with top class fighters in their inventory they don't need the JF 17.
Let me make it simple for you, the JF-17 is intended to replace the A-5s, Mirages and F-7s in the PAF, keeping in mind that after their ROSE sequence of upgrades, the Mirage had become a very competent platform. Hence the JF-17 is more than a match for any Bisons, Jaguars and Harriers out there and with it's BVR capability, it poses a challenge to the front liners as well.

THE SO CALLED DOZEN COUNTRIES ARE DIMINISED TO HARDLY 2 OR 3 ,AS WE ALL KNOW 100%INDIGENOUS STUFF IS NOT FEASIBLE ... DHRUV AND JF 17 ARE CLASS APART IN TERM OF ORIGINAL COUNTRY PRODUCT .DHRUV BELONGS TO INDIA ,JF 17 BELONGS TO CHINA AND PAF IS ALONE CUSTOMER TILL NOW UNLIKE DHRUV.... :azn:

As for the JF-17, it has just entered the squadron service, and was really displayed to the outside world at the Zuhai Air Show 2010 and the response from potential customers has been effective. As for the rest, read to your heart's content.
The JF-17 multi-role combat aircraft (also known as FC-1), a joint project between China and Pakistan, is now being manufactured by AMF.

Not to mention Su-30MKI (MLU around 2020, engines, AESA etc),AMCA, PAK FA/FGFA, LCA, Mig 29UPG, Mirage 200-9 etc...........

Joint venture?

What component of the JF-17 is of Pakistani origin? The paint?

Pakistan is doing with the JF-17 what HAL has been doing since the 60s (assembling knocked-down kits).
