I’m not sure. My cousin who lives in Scotland said some of them are good and others are bad just like all people. Has a lot of friends from there.

Haven’t really ran across one in the US.

Old money vs new money.

Mirpuris were all poor people - lived off the land - today you don't find many poor Mirpuri. The vast majority have a significant amount of family abroad sending money home.

You ever visit Mirpur, Dadyal, Kotli all you see are villas, Land cruisers, Hiluxes etc. Poverty exists but compared to 50-60 years ago it's a different world.

The people who hate on us are either jealous or typically old money elite. They don't like that villagers can come in salwar kameez and chappal, shouting in mirpuri/potwari and out spend them in fancy restaurants. They hate the typical Bradford boys enjoying the same spaces they do.

We're not reliant on the elite, we're not scared of them - we don't even aknowledge thier existence - they're just another P4ki to us.
