Slightly racist, but funny nevertheless. Will delete if this offends anyone.

Arab style music :smokin:

This is locally called نَدْبَةُ الشّحوح (Nadbat u Shuhooh)

This is a local Folklore in the northern mountainous areas of UAE and the part of Oman which is above the UAE (this part of Oman is separated from the mainland Oman by UAE).

The people who chant this Folklore are mountain Bedouins and most of them are from the tribe called Shuhooh. Most of the people in the northern mountains of UAE belong to this tribe.

This is chanted on occasions like in wedding ceremonies or after finishing from a feast (organized for any occasion)

This was in old times also chanted before going to any war to give motivation for bravery and to raise their enthusiasm.

For a normal person they are just making sounds but in fact in old times when a tribe or a big family was at war and wanted help, they would do the same and repeat some sentences asking for help hoping that the other in the mountainous areas would hear their echoes and if a tribe or a particular family was willing to help they would form a group and reply by repeating the word "هو", it means in the local dialect of the Shuhooh tribe "yes".

Now a days they mostly just do the second part which is repeating the words "هو"
