President, PM condemn Karachi blast

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, in separate messages, condemned the blast outside Imam Bargah that resulted in loss of two innocent lives and injured near two dozen people, Geo News reported.“Targeting the innocent people was highly deplorable”, said President.He issued strict orders to bring the perpetrators to the docks before long. The President directed the authorities concerned to render all-out help to the victims.Prime Minister in his condemnation message directed the law enforcing agencies to do whatever they can to rein in sectarian terrorism. On the other hand Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan, and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain have also condemned the attack.Earlier, a bomb planted in a motorbike near Imam Bargah Mustapha in Karachi detonated killing two people.A Moharram-ul-Haram congregation was underway in the Imam Bargah located in the Abbas Town area.
