A very funny moment between DXB tower and a Ex-Soviet state plane.

The Ex-Soviet pilot after landing didn't vacate runway from the nearest high speed exit but kept on going straight. And then proceeded slowly, very slowly. The following is what then happened, with the pilot talking in a Russian accent..

Tower (Twr): Expedite exit.

Pilot: Uh, say again.

Twr: Expedite exit, expedite.

Pilot: What do you mean.

Twr: Vacate the runway, expedite.

Pilot: Can you explain please.

Twr: Look, when I tell you to expedite, it means you increase your speed and leave the runway as quickly as possible. There are planes coming in to land.

Pilot: But our speed is alright.

Twr: Increase speed to 22kn and exit runway through taxiway (can't remember the name) immediately.

Pilot: Increase to 22kn and exit through taxiway (^^), thank you.

Twr: Report at the (inaudible) after reaching the ramp.

Pilot: Okay.

Then the twr handed him over to the Ground control.

It was quite funny. The twr was in a sense of urgency while the pilot was in full chill mode.
