it buys happiness if earned through proper channel and legal manner otherwise money earned from exploitation of poor and by committing crimes never result in happiness

Not True at all... in my case, even giving all the happiness, with best cars, living in upper class life style, i couldnt buy happiness for my significant other.

At the end if the person is not happy from inside, satisfied, you cannot use money to make them happy.

maybe how you got money also matters, entrepreneurs do find happiness when they see their venture succeed after long periods of failures, money is secondary. In 2017 I brought a Beach front farm house, everyone in family said its dead investment as second home & cost a lot, at-least for me it took 12 years to afford this. Does it make me happy? no doubt

I'll say it's true, have you ever seen a happy penniless homeless person?
How can anyone be content let alone happy when you got no money for basic necessities like food, shelter etc.

Modern day without money, one is not living but merely trying to exist.

Money can't buy you happiness but it can give you Freedom (Financial freedom) and it can also reduce your sorrows. Though it is a complex equation and having money certainly helps.
