Terrorists all have their own principals and views based on that they wage war on people....But if we see all the around the world we can see nearly 99% of terrorism is coming in the name of Islam...Boko Haram, TTP, Afghan Taliban, ISIS, LeT, etc etc etc....Even there is a Islamic terrorist group in Philippines which is fighting guerrilla for an Islamic state there...

As regards present ( this millenium ) I would say forget about 99% the figure probably is even higher with 99.99% of terrorist acts in the world carried out by Muslims. Just today I heard some disgusting despicable creatures murdered 45 Shia Muslim's belonging to the Agha Khan's Ismaili community.

I can't very well defend this or any other act of savagery. Do I think is this generic to Islam? Possibly but if so no more than the other two Abrahamic religions. That said right now the followers of Mohammed ( PBUP) are taking all the gold medals on this front.

However we have to nuanced enough to understand that there is political issues that are the driving force behind these where Islam has been mobilized. Take the case of suicide bombers. The prototype could be seen in the Kamikaze waves in Imperial Japan. This was then refined by the LTTE in Sri Lanka in 1980s onwards as a instrument of war against civilian population. Post 9/11 it seems to most unfortunatley for me to have infected our loonie bins in Pakistan.

I think the solution to this wave of terrorism has to be refined. Bombs and bullets are not going to alone do the job. The Terrorist financing, the radical ideology lot of it driven by Saudi sponsored Salafism amply financed with surplus petro dollars and opposition to this by thinking Muslims is the way forward. Also in some cases there has to be political solution to the problems driving some of the conflicts. There is no single cause. Instead lots of cause and effects with the effects being the common denominator, namely terrorism.

I think in UK people like Majid Nawaz need to be commended for the brave effort to turn back the tide and counter the extremist narrative.

Edit: Nothing I said here detracts from the fact that German's pose a threat to Non European people. Within their society the refex that came to fore in the 1930s that caused more deaths than any other event in history is still alive and well. PEGIDA exposed this. Anti Muslim sentiment was being harvested for racist reasons period.

I don't know if your aware but I am a secularist and strongly advocate for a secular Pakistan however I find myself defending Islam because of the rise of Islamaphobia.

Muslims kills Muslims due to many reasons not just religion. For example the actual rivalry in Middle East is Arabs vs Persians, religion is just a tool in the hands of Wahabi shiekhs and Mullahs of Iran. But giving you lessons in history is kind of point less since you have made your mind regarding over a billions Muslims with thousands of different ethnicities and languages, apparently they should all be thinking the same according to you?
