Do we have any scientific explanation as to why this surge in earth quakes particularly in the surrounding of Pak-Afghan border?

Afghanistan's testing nuclear devices like N Korea lol.
On a serious note these earthquakes are taking place all across the Himalaya so something to do with the plates.
