Strikes on Pakistan can create nuclear holocaust: Feroz Khan

Chottay, You weirdest wildest wet dream of india 'striking' Pakistan is completely out of proportion. Both Nuclear Countries are constantly keeping an eye via satellite n other means on each other and a slight move in nuclear warheads would led International community intervene.

Apart from India there are so other regional powers who have vast strategic edges linked with Pakistan and they won't let it damage as we all are linked geographically. So, Nuclear war would be lose-lose situation and there would be no come back unlike in a conventional war in which later it can be decided who bears the heavy loss and who won.

Now Answer to your last sentence - Yes I agree. And this is what Pakistan has done so far. "bringing disputes in Limelight" which is "Kashmir".

but seems like your own government is in no position to agree with you.

So the op must be wrong in saying there will be nuclear lolocaust. Since you guys have been doing that is to bring the disputes into the limelight.wheather India will strike or not thats a different matter altogether.atleast good to know there wont be any Nuclear strikes.

. .
india really need to re-vise its foreign policy against her neighbors coz its completely screwed up and should educate its citizens to come out of bollywood sunny deol's kinda fallacy to keep up her economy to flourish in order to compete China.

:pakistan:

Our Pakistan policy is perfect. Nothing needs to change. You are the ones who want something, we are happy with the status quo. You want Siachen....Kashmir.....we are happy to have you keep wanting them. If you choose to continue your support for terrorism, then I'm sure a couple of billion dollars of investment will certainly give India more bang for the buck inside Pakistan.....literally.

    • Daikhata-Dumabari
    • Lathitila
    • Muhurichar river island
    • Pyrdiwah
Boraibari[edit]
Boraibari falls under the adverse possession category with the map suggesting that it should be within India but it has been controlled by Bangladesh authorities since 1971.

Nepal[edit]

    • Antudanda
    • Nawalparasi
Kalapani[edit]
Kalapani (कालापानी) is an area under territorial dispute in Darchula District, Nepal and Pithoragarh district of India.

Although claimed by Nepal, Kalapaani has been occupied by India's Indo-Tibetan border security forces since the 1962 border war with China. Nepal claims that the river cited in the 1816 treaty should be followed all the way to its Himalayan source as the boundary, rather than the ridge line east of the river claimed by India. The river borders the Nepalese zone of Mahakali and the Indian state of Uttarakhand. The Sugauli Treaty signed by Nepal and British India in 1816 utilizes the Kali River as Nepal's western boundary with India. Subsequent maps drawn by British surveyors show the source of the boundary river at different places. This discrepancy in locating the source of the river led to boundary disputes between India and Nepal, with each country producing maps supporting their own claims. The Kalapani River runs through an area that includes a disputed area of about 400 km² around the source of the river although the exact size of the disputed area varies from source to source.

Susta[edit]
Susta is an area under territorial dispute currently in Tribenisusta, Nepal and near Nichaul, Uttar Pradesh, India. The area under dispute totals over 14,000 hectars.

Myanmar[edit]
Narcondam Island[edit]
Until 1986 Burma claimed sovereignty over Narcondam Island, the easternmost point of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This claim was given upon reaching agreement with India on the delimitation of the maritime boundary between the two nations in the Andaman Sea, the Coco Channel and the Bay of Bengal.

Sri Lanka[edit]
Kachchatheevu[edit]
Kachchatheevu or Katchatheevu or Kachativu (Tamil: கச்சத்தீவு Kaccatīvu) (Sinhala:කච්චතීවු) is an uninhabited island belonging to [Sri Lanka - Disputed] Comprising a Area of 285 Acres. This island was given to Sri Lanka by India in 1974. It has a Catholic shrine and has been declared as a sacred area by the government of Sri Lanka. In 2001, the Tamil Government called for the return of the island but Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, former Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Minister of Sri Lanka and current president, declined. He said that, `It is impossible to give it back to them as it has been recognized by the international community as an integral part of our country since it was handed over by late Indira Gandhi.'

ha ha ha..
Such a silly post ... you are bringing up border disputes with our neighbors, as if we don't know of their existence.

Are any of the countries are fighting a war with India over it?
This is the same foreign policy, that you have told us to re-look, which has kept war away from India even after the existence of border disputes. And this is the beauty of the foreign policy that all these disputes will be resolved even without firing a single bullet. India doesn't need a foreign policy lessons from anyone, it has sustained us for a very long, even at the worst of times. This same foreign policy has brought even your best friends, close to India be it Saudi Arabia, Turkey or even China. Can you say for surety that your friends will stand for you in time of need? Now that will be a foreign policy lesson for you. You are standing Alone my friend with no friends. China is just using Pakistan as a pawn just to contain India and keeping the Islamic terror away from Xinxiang. The day you fail in either of it, you will watch this same China getting on you worse than US.

Will you say the same again for us? Do you still say we need to re-look?

Anyways keep up that song and dance because you can't force someone who doesn't want to see the light of the day.

It depends on level of the respective country's Self Respect - If you are implying by saying this than indirectly you're saying Pakistan has more self respect than any other country neighboring india. Thanks for the acknowledgement. :pakistan:

This same foreign policy has brought even your best friends, close to India be it Saudi Arabia, Turkey or even China.

In the world of diplomacy you never know for whom you are working for. Bluntly blunt Pakistan has no reservations over Pakistan friendly countries getting close to India. Reason? It's a win win situation. Same countries which have been Pakistan friendly later also got closer to India played a major role in defusing the hostile situation between two Nuclear neighboring Countries.

So Again :pakistan:

You'd agree this fact unless or until you too are dreaming like bharat verma

All you need to do is to keep calm and educate yourself over strategic and foreign affairs.:guns:

oh cmon .. self respect and Pakistan in a same sentence.. lolz.. you forgot the Salala Massacre, the daily drone strikes on a your soil by a foreign country, Raymond Davis, selling your country to fight someone else's war and many more instances. Lessons in Self respect is the last thing i will ever take from a Pakistani.

I guess thats the side effect of not having an independent foreign policy. India works for its own interests only.
We are not a slave to someone so that we have to know for whom we are working. There are influences from the others but at the end its the interest of India that prevails.
We are working towards a scenario where your so called friends will not even come to your moral support, let aside any material support, in case of hostilities with India. Look closely, you will find, your Ummah card has failed, your raking up of Kashmir has failed, your deals for oil and gas have failed, The IMF is putting severe restrictions upon you for even petty loans, now this is what Indian foreign policy done to you. And it is growing more and more as countries like Indonesia, which even provided you military support, are coming to our folds you will see the world more hostile towards you as we are not leaving any stone unturned to prove you a terrorist nation. This was quite evident from the recent visit of Indian PM, be it US, Russia, Turkey or even China where we raised the issue of Pakistan supporting terrorists. We will make you very lonely my friend, very lonely.

Your so called canard of Nuclear power is nothing more than a bluff to blackmail international community. And most of the countries have seen through it. Case in point, the current ongoing border skirmishes between India and Pakistan, how many of your friends have taken notice? how many have even reacted to it? the answer is None. At the height of Kargil war, we were both nuclear armed neighbors, and fighting a war, which country did intervene to subside the hostilities? you been running to the US for intervention but US never intervened and the war stopped only when all the objectives of the India were achieved. So keep dreaming that "jannat se farishtey aa kar nooklear waar rok lenge" but even that wont happen, India has enough diplomatic arsenal when the need arises. There wont be any friends there for you.

And yes the more our economy grows, the more Indo-China trade grows the less inclined will be the Chinese to support any party in case of war. We are not dreaming of it my friend.. we are working towards it.

You are now seeing the real cunning of the greatest strategist ever born.. Kautilya. the great master of India foreign policy.

Reading at some replies here.

To the guys who have wet dreams of Pakistan striking a nucelar attack on India;

Are you guys seriously retarded? Do you know what such strikes will do to the whole region even if successful? All the radiation? Thats basically self-destructing yourself in a bid of destroying someone else.

I think you are over rating fallout a little. Noticeable Fallout from a 50kt nuclear detonation on Delhi will not reach lahore.

Is just Lahore Pakistan? Should we forget the rest of the country?

And I doubt that your equation is 100% correct anyway.

let me rephrase
Incase of a 50 kilo ton detonation on Delhi the maximum downwind fallout cloud distance of 1 rad/h dose is 164 km. If we suppose that the wind is blowing west (towards lahore) (15km/h) it would not reach it , because total distance b/w two cities is 400km

In a full fledged nucelar war, the strategy will be to hit strategical and financially important hub cities as well hence your point is flawed since your calculation is only based on it hitting Delhi while it in reality would not be the only target.
