Nope it delved into the beginnings of Indo-Israeli partnership after decades of near hostility and the current projects that are being undertaken as a JV.

And After that I had posted few articles on this relationship - how it developed, the primary thrust areas and the constraints for further development.

As India's premier defence partner Indo-Israeli ties have a direct impact on India's defence preparedness.

Is their plight worse than that of the Pushtuns in Pakistan? Do they get IDPed in the hundreds of thousands?

What do you think would be the result of a Sachar report (I know every freshly minted Madressa graduate learns by heart that Churchil quote about India being a geographical indicator, the 66 raging insurgencies, the plight of Muslims in India and the Sachar report) if one was created for the tribals of Pakistan?

What kind of jobs are they doing in every major city of Pakistan? What are the opportunities available in NWFP and especially FATA for economical and educational advancement?

Frankly this hypocritical concern for Indian Muslims impresses none. But then you have no choice in the matter.

The report suggested that entire Indian Muslim population supports Israel sighting a sponsored trip for delegation of a Muslim org so why not to debate that

Coming back to the topic, India's relationship with Israel is a net positive for both the countries. Israel is already too strong militarily for the Arabs to erase from the map. Then their nukes and the Samson doctrine of going down with the entire Arab world would mean that anyone who wants peace in the region has to work with Israel to get justice for the Palestinians. Strong arm tactics won't work, even with the 50-100 times advantage in number that the Arabs alone have over Israel in all matter of resources.

India is a friend of the Palestine. We want them to get a viable state in a two state solution. We don't support the terrorists of Hamas but our support is there with the people of Palestine, has always been and will continue to be. Not engaging with Israel does not contribute to the solution. We tried that for decades and it didn't help.

Anyone who thinks Israel can be eradicated from the map is living in fool's paradise. They don't realize what they are wishing, what kind of destruction would be unleashed if ever there was a war of annihilation in the ME.

Now as far as your silly argument about plight of IDPs then a sane mind can understand difference between an occasional displacement due to either natural calamity like floods, and occasional operation against militants and that of plight of poor down trodden Muslims in India aka Bharat for the last over 60 years.

What do you think would be the result of a Sachar report (I know every freshly minted Madressa graduate learns by heart that Churchil quote about India being a geographical indicator, the 66 raging insurgencies, the plight of Muslims in India and the Sachar report) if one was created for the tribals of Pakistan?

if one was created for our tribal areas then you are ignorant enough to know that an average family there has more land more wealth than even an average Hindu Indian in urban India.

The FATA people are as much welcomed as of Peshawar or Karachi for educational facilities and jobs depending upon their skills. They are no different than less developed areas in Punjab or Sindh.

I am talking of who villages and towns being obliterated in military operations, not floods.

They are not downtrodden compared to all Muslims in Pakistan, leave alone the Pushtuns or other tribals. They have better education, better incomes, better democracy and better opportunity, leaving alone the freedom of worship for all sects and no fear of being blown up in their mosques.

Really. I know that India has a higher per capita income and Indian Muslims have higher per capita income that Pakistanis.

Now you show me that the tribals have a higher per capita income than the average Pakistani. Despite there being so much backwardness in tribal areas and no rule of law for the most part.

There is no personal dislike. What do you even mean by "my Pukhtun Pakistanis"? It is just to say that a segment of population may fall behind others and can catch up once they change their approach. Pushtuns in Pakistani cities have a better chance of getting educated because they have shed the Pushtunwali.

Muslims in India had fallen behind in education much before independence and that included all Muslims in undivided India. Now they are catching up. Fast.
