Story of Air Comdr Sattar Alvi downing Israeli fighter in Syrian War 1973

. .
Also against Jordan's and Syrian governments for giving them fake medals.
Even America recognized Saiful Azzam as one of the greatest fighter pilots. Perhaps @500 should sue the American government along with the Pakistani gov.t, the Bangladeshi gov.t, the Jordanian gov.t, the Egyptian gov.t, the Saudi gov.t, etc...

come on @500, for all the BS you spew, you should at least take some action against the lies being propagated . Less barking, more walking.

Yes he did. IAF pilots of course had no way to know the nationality of pilots inside the planes since the planes belonged to Syria and Jordan. Just like they did not know they went against North Korean pilots until the war was over.
There is a claim that he shot down Mirage IIICJ flown by Captain M. Lutz. On 26 April 1974. But IAF did not lose any plane on that day and pilot "M. Lutz" never existed.

Here the list of all all Israeli pilots KIA (Hebrew):

"Flight Lieutenant Saiful Azam has the unique distinction of having kills against air forces of two different countries. As a young Flying Officer during the 65 War, Saiful Azam scored a kill against an Indian Air Force Gnat, in recognition of which he was awarded Sitara-i-Jurat. Two years later Saiful Azam became the first Pakistani pilot to score against the Israeli Air Force in the 1967 Arab-Israel war. He shot down a Vatour Bomber, a super Mystere, and a Mirage IIIC, all in only two missions thus raising his tally to four kills. To-date he remains the highest shooter of Israeli aircraft.
He has been highly decorated with gallantry awards by both Jordan and Iraq for his extraordinary display of skill and courage. He retired as a Group Captain from Bangladesh Air Force. In 2001, he was honoured by the United States Air Force (USAF) and enjoys the status of being one of the twenty two ‘Living Eagles’ of the world."

It's in hebrew... and the other link has a lot of missing info shown as classified.

Secondly, don't believe what Israeli government claims. They want you to believe people use children as human shileds... never heard of a more ridiculous thing.

Sorry pals, but he did not shot down any Israeli jet.

One of the member has uploaded the entire interview on this thread. You can have a look. You might not understand the language, but they have shown the uniform of an Israeli pilot who was badly injured and died later on. Watch at 34 mints.

As I said Israel publishes all its dead and if his body was captured that would be a HUGE story. For example every Israeli knows name of Ron Arad - a pilot who was lost over Lebanon 30 years ago.

Israel admits all 3 jets shot down by Saiful Azam in 1967, so why would it hide that one? And if Israel wanted to deny being shot in the air so much we could say that jet was shot down from the ground or had technical failure.

P.S. Israeli pilots have a wing badge on uniform not that star of david + ranks on shoulders.
