Stop buying Unilever producst

USA not doing any harm to muslims ? Occupation of iraq, afg, syria, libya, drone attack on pakistan. All nothing in front of a few cartoons ?

Why are you still quoting me? I do not care what you or your country thinks. I am a Pakistani, I can do as I please whether its eat a beef burger or something else.

If you want my rationale, just go back and re-read my posts. Why do you Indians expect me to answer the same questions again and again? I do not owe you an answer. India is nothing to me.

Check how long I have been on this forum. I have seen enough elites, think tanks and frankly mediocrity is what you get. Discourse is all about, if I cant argue on facts, I will ignore you or report you or worst ban you. I dont give a F.

Do you really think I give a F to what you intend to do but can't?

Please stop using all products of Unilever and Walls Ice cream.
These are companies from Holland / Netherlands and their citizen and politician of Dutch Freedom Party and Parliamentarian Geert Wilders is holding cartoon contest to disrespect or Holy Prophet PBUH. The company does 700 Million USD to a Billion USD business in Pakistan annually.
Through Unilever the Dutch government earns hundreds of Millions of Dollars and stopping to buy their products will cause enough damage to Netherlands economy to send a strong message.

The products are

All Walls Ice creams
Lux
Lifebuoy
Lipton tea
Brooke Bond tea
Dove
Closeup
Comfort
Sunsilk
Supreme tea
Ponds
Rin
Sunlight
Fair n Lovely
Domex
Surf
Vim
Rafhan
Glaxose D
Toni &Guy
Nope not going to do that nor will most folks apart from the apko shetan like karney sey rokey ga types

Actually boycott is the most effective nonviolent form of resistance. Look how terribly BDS hurt Israel's economy and image. Western countries, like US, Canada, and UK, are now passing laws to make BDS and boycotting Israel illegal.

Every Pakistani should be boycotting Indian and Israeli products. We have no business dealing with these occupiers and vehemently anti-Muslim states.

The previous boycott of Denmark for cartoon controversy cost them billions. Now, we can do the same for the Netherlands.

We also need to develop our local soap, shampoo, and cream industries to replace these products. It is a good time to tap that market. Maybe a government ban will help get things going.
The unilever products are all made in Pakistan i have even been to their factories the only non Pakistani thing on them is the brand name

Why are the Netherlands allowing use of their Parliament and providing security to those people?

Hypocrites do not even let Erdogan and AKP leaders tour EUto give speeches to dual Turk nationals. They are funding PKK and BLA.

Shame on them. We need to be boycotting every nation which gives money and support to BLA, BLF, and PKK also.
Because its their countries and our laws dont apply to that place

A bigger insult is acceptance of usury.....when will we boycott this curse???

The company is in Pakistan , and is independent from Holland/ Netherland.
Workers who work in it in Pakistani brach are all Muslims

Act of one Lunatic politician does not mean we ignore the positive done by Dutch company in Pakistan

Remember 1 Politician , vs 8 Million normal dutch people and a company which has no connection to Dutch politcians

Best thing Pakistanis can do is pay Taxes to Pakistan or tell 1,000 Pakistanis to pay their share of tax

If 200 Million Pakistanis Pay taxes , we will make 100 Unilever Companies Pakistani Owned

You live in an utopian world. Tell me how many new tax filings do you see on yearly basis. Same here in India. Only 2 crores from 120 crore Indians file returns but only fraction of which pay any tax. India collects most taxes from indirect taxes.

Unilever Pakistan by the way is a subsidiary of Unilever Overseas Holdings Limited, UK and its ultimate parent company is Unilever PLC, UK

The board of directors of UPL are all Pakistanis. Most of the shareholders are local.

Before going to boycott anything a little knowledge about the companies like where they manufacture, where they are registered, how many employees they have, what is their shareholding pattern etc is necessary. Try sometimes reading at least the financial statements of these companies.

Unilever is a joint UK and Netherlands company.

Pakistani Unilever should try to distance itself from this controversy, if that is the case and maybe consider a name change and becoming independent.

Well that's possible, the Pakistani management of UPL can issue a statement denouncing that act and reprimand wilder.

if that is the case and maybe consider a name change and becoming independent.

Pakistani state should acquire the company then. What's stopping them?

Anyways their Pakistani products are harmful to skin and health. There should have been a strict quality control check on them long ago.
