What's new

Step Son of Bharat Mata.

You have entitled to share your piece of mind since me.

Thanks for not abusing me or labelled me false flag.

Do you not have anything to state with regards to the questions I have posed?
Is your hatred that blind and mute that you cannot give it words?

If you really want us to understand your end, you need to have a conversation, not a sermon.
You expect Indians to feel sorry for you, but you don't have any room to accommodate our perspective.
How can one reach a compromise in such conditions?
Do tell?

This man is trying to prove from past 60 years of his loyalty with Indian regime. He is paying price for being Indian patriot in past 60 years of his life. You should not supposed to be afraid of a 60 year old man that was accused and caught for no reason and now living a kind of isolation.
Please, let him breathe on internet atleast.

regards

I'm sorry @Slav Defence, as much as I sympathize with the man, you're going overboard to give him a clean chit.
What we are hearing is one side of the story...which is his side. We and you certainly cannot be sure that he was involved in or what acts he committed that brought him such misery.

I mean I'm sure TTP in Pakistan has a side too and I'm sure those suicide bombers who routinely blow themselves up in your public places lap it up like cake. How much sympathy do you have for them?
Its a matter of perspective and there are two sides to the coin....

So yes, he is entitled to his opinion, but please don't go ahead and endorse it as some sort of universal truth.

Thank you for the nice words.

I already request moderators to add Khalistan flag.

there are no links sir

.
Not true the brutality Indian forces use during operations against Sikhs fighters and non-fighters made them to runaway from India since Khalistan has no brother like Kashmiris had and have like Pakistan.
Khalistan will be on world map but after Kashmir since they lost hope but need inspiration which will be available in the shape of Independent Kashmir.

How do you expect to get freedom If you run away ? come back and fight-

And the main cause behind the crushing of Khalistani movement was crucial help from Pakistan-

When the Sikh movement published a map of Khalistan, it included parts of the Pakistani side of Punjab. This prompted Gen Zia to order his government to keep Sikhs “under strict surveillance”. Later in 1988, the then director-general of the ISI, Gen Hamid Gul, called on prime minister Benazir Bhutto and advocated a plan to support the Khalistan movement in Indian Punjab as a bid to pre-empt any Indian threat. Bhutto told the General to drop the card.

Later on, prime minister Bhutto, in a bid to create a friendly atmosphere, collected all information about Sikh activists and reportedly sent it to Indian prime pinister Rajiv Gandhi through a special messenger. This information rpparently helped Rajiv bring an end to the Sikh uprising.

This is what Pakistan says-

Step Son of Bharat Mata.

1984, Sikh Light Infantry (3rd Battalion).
ex.Major Dhara
As a newly promoted Major I am enjoying newly granted privileges but suddenly one morning changed everything.
Indira_Gandhi_assassination.jpg

assassination-of-indira-gandhi-4-638.jpg

31st October 1984 09:20 am morning Mrs. Gandhi was assassinated by her own Sikh guards, news spread like a fire in the jungle and within minutes we (Sikhs) the most loyal and brave sons of Bharat Mata learned the hard fact that in fact we are step sons. We were ordered to submit our arms and stay in barracks, relieved from all type of duties with immediate effect. In other words we were imprisoned in our barracks and armed Hindu guards was installed on us in the name of our protection.
High rank Hindu army officers suspecting mutiny by us and decided to send Sikh officers and jawans on forced indefinite leaves until further orders, we refused in shock but have to leave the barracks when guards on our security starts killing agitated, angry Sikh officers and jawans, more than 30 officers and jawans were murdered but no one held accountable for these murders.
Like many others Sikh officers and Jawans I was too subject to forced leave but this was not the end of our troubles but just a start of our pains, Indian army thinking us traitors and same time our villagers, friends and even family looking at us with hate, anger and suspicion and because of this many officers and Jawan joined militant groups even one General Rank officers Maj. Gen Shabej Singh.
shabeg.jpg

I was committed to my oath and refused to join freedom fighters and after 6 months on leave I was ordered to join my battalion back where many other Sikh officers also joined but this was our test of Desh-Bakhti like many others my C.O called me and handed our written orders which instruct me to go for some intelligence training upon further inquiry my C.O told me that after the completion of my intelligence training I have to go under cover as Punjab police officer to flush out freedom fighters from villages (flush out means fake encounter to kill even on suspicion). I refused these orders and again I was sent to leave but after 25 days police raided my village home with army personals and arrest me by labeling me as Pro-Khalistani fighter and made recovery of 12 gauge shot gun which was licensed and hardly have any usage in armed fighting against military.
Major-Surinder-Singh.jpg

A court martial was ordered but they found case against me of being a Khalistani fighter is wrong but I refused the military orders and also I have pro khalistani views so they not only stripped my rank but also awarded 1 year imprison. During my trial my father in law a serving Brigadier initially helped me and that is why they reduced my charges from armed fighter to pro-khalistani which reduces my jail term but later my father in law proved his desh-bakhti and severed all ties with me and taking my wife also along with my two sons with him and brainwashed my wife, upon my return I approach her but she refuses to come back to me and I had no choice since there were news that Police trying to book me again, my cousin got visa for Gulf and in a hurry he gave me his passport and forced me to leave for a time being. I was in no mood but my elderly parents request me to leave since police starts harassing my sisters and brother in law because they are looking for me. Since then I am out of India on a fake (my cousin’s) passport worked even as labor for construction sites, driver and other labor jobs since I have no documents with me to prove my qualification.
After many years to improve my life I traveled to Italy but again faced a hard reality that there is no job for me from there a Pakistani agent suggested me to go to Japan and this is the end because few years back my cousin died in India and I can’t renew my passport hence living here illegally hiding in a warehouse the same I am working.
I tried many time to contact my children who are in Canada but they refused to meet me since they are brainwashed by my father in law.
@Icarus @Spring Onion

Your story is sad indeed. There is nothing I can say that would heal your wounds. All I can say is that I feel for you and hope you find peace.

I know that you did not deserve this fate. Armed conflict is a dirty business and I am not privy to the entire sequence of events whereby the situation in Punjab got out of hand. Reading an account such as yours makes me think the Indian government could have handled it better.

Welcome Sir,

I would appreciate if someone publish it on mainstream news.

I pray to God for your future, may God almighty helps you in future and present.

Thanking you,

Rab tere te mayr kare veer g.

.
I will make sure that no one attempts to troll you.You are most welcome to write down a series of your memoirs and I will simply feature it.I can only pray for you and remember that fate of any nation does not remain constant. It keeps changing.Sometime it take few years and sometime it takes centuries. No one owns any piece of land. It's Allah's will who choose for nations to become inhabitant in whatever place He desires.

Change is a part of nature.

There is entire history the earth speaks itself.Once, the earth itself formed from gas and dust and starts to set up layers. Then different species had begun to evolve. The most powerful species such as dinosaurs got extinct and so nature progressed. From random atoms to DNA, from DNA to RNA, From RNA to proteins and cells and muscles and unicellular organisms and then multi-cellular then progressive adaptation till man was introduced.

That is just the changes done by nature. After man's arrival, different nations were formed that kept changing places. There was a time when Egypt was super power and had enslaved Israelis then Pharaoh's nation got extinct, then move progressively and you will see changes.

See, how God shared his memoir:

Ta, Seen, Meem. These are the verses of the clear Book.
We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.
Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters.
And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors

And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared.
(Surah Qasas)

Nations like Iran and Rome got defeat from weak Arabs that were Russians and Americans of their time.Their crowns and silk cloaks and jewels were under the feat of Arabs. Then Arab invasion to India and rule for centuries, then british raj then independence-there will be surely plans for Sikhs, keralities, kashmiris, hindus and other muslims in this newly shaped sub-continent that is divided into Pakistan and India. No one can predict what nations are heading towards, no one can predict any nation's fate.Strong nations gets deserted sometimes from weakest ones and weakest become strong and get freedom from slavery. No one knows what God is planning. :)

regards
if life gives me few months chance I can try to get his memoirs published.

I understand that your feelings are heartfelt. The reason I am writing this is not to troll you. However, I would appreciate it if you show similar compassion to other cases, even when it may be inconvenient to your patriotic affiliations. Compassion and understanding should not have a political colour. Hope you take it in the right spirit.

Thanks you all brothers and sons for supporting me.

There is no denying that injustice was done to loyal Indian Sikhs during the mayhem that followed the assassination of Indra Gandhi. The blame fully lies with the then Congress government and also with the instigators of violence in Punjab during the 80's. And also Spring Onion madamji (with all due respect), alway remember never to take anything from an internet forum as gospel of truth.

.
@Dhara No i mean You Contact Human Rights So and Talk about Your Situation They might be able to help you because its wasnt normal circumstances

^ wanted to bump the above.

Seriously, you have to get help and it should be available, Canada has recently recognised 1984 as genocide. There has to be some organisation out there to help you.

I'm useless at these things maybe someone can suggest but don't ignore not getting help, do something and keep us all updated.

Maybe this help and recognition can also bring your family closer.

All the best.

Few months? God forbid, you will be fine. These are just memoirs to enlighten world about someone who is away from his family and friends. It will in any way not impose any threat to defence and security related issues. It will be just an echo of one more voice out of thousands. What happened with sikhs is an open history. There are no secrets, all ops are mentioned even in most unreliable and open source as wiki.

If you want to help him for his story to be published then go ahead. :)

yes indeed. plz mention other such cases.
Sir Ray C whome many Indian members must be knowing from Indian forum ; late Brig retd Ray C and I used to exchange harsh words during discussion here on the forum but I always respected him and never crossed the line . He died last year which saddened me too much since he used to call me like his daughter rather he used to tell me that i have sharp features just like that of his daughter. He was the only forum member from india whom i called when i landed in Delhi . Wanted to visit him but I did not have visa for Kolkata.

anyway to cut the story short i just want to convey that despite the political differences there is no reason i would put humanity and respect down.
I usually do not abuse anyone unless some abuse me first.

the problem is that no indian successive government provided justice to Sikhs .the saffronis are against Congress but still even their government of backed set up never took the matter seriously.
yes internet foras can't be believed fully but what is the harm to highlight life story of such individuals who were subjected to injustice for no reason
