naaah....... can't be ..... a lot of US buck is involved in this ..... besides since russia ,India , china, and a few others already have progs for 5gen planes keeping allies away from 5gen tech is stupidity...... while Uncle SAM is many things he definitely is NOT stupid..... JSF was made because f22 was way too costly and they could not afford to buy and maintain the huge numbers they obviously want....the jsf is cheaper and very formidable (so they say) but not as good as f-22..... by the way you forget a hell lot of numbers of JSF is gonna be a part of USAF ....USA is not so delusional to buy these crafts if it were for fooling pplmaybe f-35 was a sick plan of the U.S to keep its allies and the rest away from 5th gen tech for as long as possible
We don't need F35 .. but ha if they are willing to sell F22 then I think we should go atleast 4 sqdrn fighter
I think we should wait and see how this JSF program progress. We already have two 5th gen fighter jets planned fgfa and AMCA. I think we should wait and if by 2020 any of the two projects fgfa and amca gets delayed we can always go for F35 and may be by 2020 US might even be willing to sell f22.
maybe f-35 was a sick plan of the U.S to keep its allies and the rest away from 5th gen tech for as long as possible
okay pal it wasnt a serious comment
FYI i do know how many f-35 usaf usn and usmc are going to buy
I dont know who is the bigger fool...Ajay Shukhla who says the flyaway cost of a F-freakin-35 is $ 65 million or the author of this article who found it credible enough to publish it..
