At 597 feet, India’s Statue of Unity is now the tallest statue in the world and clearly seen from space! Oblique SkySat image captured today, November 15, 2018.

. . .
Point was to show the statue of unity from space.

Do you want to post pictures of your house from space ? do it if it will help with your butt hurt.
The word butthurt is banned in this forum as it degrades the quality of the forum.

. . . .
What is the point ?

Spending 3K crores and not being visible from space would be a big bummer.

Again what a waste of money. People spend money to see what they already spend to build. Now they can spend money to travel to space and still see it. Big achievement.

. . .
A good project/initiative should be appreciated, but this giant sized stupidity has to be ridiculed.

It's just 3000 crores. That's 30 Billion Rupees divided by 1.3 billion population.

So 2.5₹ per Indian citizen. It's not even that much.

It's just 3000 crores or 3 billion Rupees divided by 1.3 billion population.

It cost like 2.5 ₹ rupees per Indian citizen. Does that seem like a lot to you?
