State of play: Is videogame development on the rise in Pakistan?

No, you misunderstood me. I wasn't talking about Pakistani games developers, I was rather talking about Pakistani players.

There just isn't enough electricity in the country for let's say, a 100 million Pakistani video games players.

Pakistan should produce a game on Pakistan Air force, just like Janes has produced combat simulation games on USAF, Israeli Air force, F-15, F-18 etc. PAF has a rich history and loads of missions can be created based on operations during Indo-Pak wars, WoT, Soviet-Afghan war or the recent skirmish.

If the quality reaches that of Janes USAF (which was made in 1999), I'll call it a success..

Will Abhi be on the cover? Maybe a MKI in flames? I'd buy.

Most games are now played on smart phones. Horse power requirements to program smart phone games is not that high. The big growth is free online games like Fortnite.
