What's new

State of India was never partitioned - It was created in Aug, 1947.

.
Anyways if Hidostan was a region then this region was constantly increasing under Delhi sultanate and then Mughals... region included current Pakistan, Bangladesh, India and parts of Afghanistan... and ruled by a central authority, who drive policies, collected taxes with provinces have their governance under the guidance of this central authority....what is a country now?
The map of Delhi sultanate and mughals empire never covered present day India. And those so called Muslims were very secular and never ever in history someone tried to establish a pure Hindu rule in the subcontinent.

.
Before 1947 it was 'British India'. Prior to that the Moguls ruled over much of the subcontinent and united the fractured kingdoms under their control. Their demise was followed on by the Sikhs.

Mongols ? in india ???? on which planet ???

What nonsense thread....

Everyone knows in world that India (BHARAT) is the most ancient country, civilization of this planet.... the first ever human on the earth was Indian and called as MANU.....

In DWAPAR YUG (prior to KALI YUG in which we live today) BHARAT did exist and known as MAHABHARATA which spanned from GANDHAR (today's KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN) till SAYAM (today's THAILAND)....

ZERO was a great invention of human history and gift to mathematics was given by India to this planet......

Ignorant people before calling India an artificial state learn about history first and learn to give a credit where it's due....

You forgot to mention the missile technology that was invented by the Indian Hindus before the arrival of dinosaurs on this planet.

And who is us? Muslims too were outsiders they came in 7th century to this land.....
Well in that way, every one is outsider. The first human being, Hazrat Adam landed in Srilanka so all other nations and all other people are outsiders... Everyone part of the the earth never grew people,. they migrated from other places to populate it.... why stop on the 7th century then... lets go back some 2billion years and we'll find out that everyone is a migrant..

. .
Agreed. I am a Muslim (born in Muslim family) but have not read Quraan.
Gazwa e Hind (and related to topic - word Hind) is mentioned in Hadith Sunan an-Nasa'i 1:25:3177, 3176 and 3175...referring to today's India....implying the land of India existed long before 1947.
So does that mean you have comprehension issues? You can't differentiate between quran and hadith when it's written loud and clear that it was hadith.

Too many questions, just remember
Vedic religions have got little to do with the hinduism you practice today.Till the 19th century, in western publications, the Vedic religion was believed to be different from and unrelated to Hinduism.It was only after your neo-vedanta hindu reformist movements arose esp. the one that started in 1875 that you started believing in a hindu state and ancient vedic beliefs being the reason to claim the lands.Thanks to the modern excavation happenign in those times by British..you knew nothing before that. You can call vedics your ancestoral belief system but vedic was a way way differnt thing then what you perceive it to be and more than that using it to claim land..LOL. Thats like Muslims laying claim on the whole world as theirs since our God sent 124000 messengers to different parts of the world.
Zero and all that stuff was part of Indus civilization(there is no such thing as an indian civilization), ..There were no hindus nor any hindu practices in indus valley.indus valley people were shamanistic ,their beliefs are unclear.This is our history let us read our history you can focus on your own history..the one that lies within your borders.

So didnt india ... britishers decided to make a British India state. before that there was no such thing as india.

Dude history about Alexander was re written way later after their libraries got burnt in Egypt..There is not a single proof Alexander called this land 'India'..dont make up things from yourself..
The region was known back then as Sindha and Gandhara..NOT India

LOL.it has nothing to do with hate..
just because a sheep labels itself wolf doesnt mean it becomes a wolf ..India labelled itself this identity in 1947 as it wanted to capitalize on the indus regions of paksitan..unfortunately it failed and now its like a headless chicken..

Please provide us anme of that "HISTORY TEXT BOOK" taught around the world other than india.. and gives your "version of hsitory"..
dont complicate things.none of them was 'indian'..
Maurya was Pakistani not Indian.He was born somehere between Chitral and Swat(present day pakistan cities).
Mughals were also Pakistani, a big chunk of time had Lahore as their capital.
So were Sikhs in history since they too made Lahore their capital..Not just that most of their holy places are in present day Pakistan.

@Pan-Islamic-Pakistan

Very good points brother. You have to remember these miscreants also lay claim to the Kaaba in Makkah. Their sense of history and reality are totally warped.

Common Brahmin myth.

Mesopotamians invented zero as a concept. Babylon first recorded it in symbolic form. Mesoamerican civilizations independently symbolised zero in the 4th century.

The Indian subcontinent caught up in the 7th century with Brahmagupta.

https://www.history.com/.amp/news/who-invented-the-zero

Before the Aryan invaders ravaged the Pakistani IVC, and spread themselves eastward to bring indigenous gangetics to heel, the Pakistani IVC had a flourishing mathematical knowledge base, including concepts in geometry and measures. Evidence from mohenjo daro and harappa exists to this end.

Pakistanis in the modern world should be well aware of the rich IVC legacy that we inherited in terms of maths, science and language. The scholars of the Ganges basin and their allied city states only advanced themselves when central Asiatic steppe invaders (Aryans) arrived and enslaved them. These same Aryans ravaged the fledgling Pakistani IVC nation and hence, much of what modern "India" claims as its own is actually appropriated from Pakistan and the IVC. Our greatest mathematician was Pingala. Feel free to google him to understand more.

"The earliest attested writing system of India is the script of the Indus Valley civilization, dating back to c.2500 BC. "

https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/social-sciences/indus-valley-civilization

Ancient Pakistanis were writing while gangetics were gathering fruit.

"Other cultures of the same era, such as the Indus Valley Civilization, also appeared to have developed complex water and sanitation systems in their cities. At the ruins of Mohenjo-daro (2600–1700 BC), a city located in southern Pakistan on the banks of the Indus River, archeologists have identified bathrooms and latrines that were directly connected to street drains or drained into the sewer system via terra-cotta pipes with closely fitting spigot joints. Archeologists also identified what appeared to be independent lines for kitchen water and bath water. "

Ancient Pakistanis had developed toilets and sewage systems, while residents of the Ganges Basin had not.

There is simply no comparison between the IVC, Pakistan's precursor, and the dwellers of the Ganges basin and their modern descendants.

The Aryan invasions complicated matters. Nevertheless, these invaders did bring some semblance of civilisation to the gangetic natives. Of course, this puts to rest any notion that modern hindutva has of some "indigenous" flourishing civilisation originating in coterminous India. The reality is that the IVC flourished while gangetics wandered, and only after invading Aryans enslaved them, did the gangetics actually advance themselves. This is probably why Aryans (Brahmins) have always sat on top of the social pyramid.

Can you elucidate this in genetic terms (from your view points)? Like ANI, ASI, AASI etc which one is which in your terms?

Brother don't ever say again that something is from Quran without knowing it is 100 percent.
Brother...in this forum when people can say so much filth laden things for other religion quoting their religious texts, traditions...without knowing even 50% of it...why such condition for one specific religion?

I should be asking your version of History then. I provided you a link as well and still you are saying Mauya was born in Swat?...Do you know who was Maurya?.....It was a dynasty...with Chandragupta the one who expanded this empire till Afghanistan....He was born in present day Bihar (India).
If Sikhs were Pakistanis...why you don't teach about them in your history books to that extent?

Others voluntarily a accede to the nation state of India. But, the nation state of India is centred politically and geographically on the Ganges. This isn't a version of history. This is reality.

Please give some insights on where you get this reality......Who were Marathas? Cholas? Read...

Exactly.... BHARAT was spanned from Gandhar, Afghanistan still SAYAM a modern day Thailand.....

King Dhrutarashtra wife and mother of Duryodhan was Gandhari..... she was daughter of Gandhar king (Afghanistan).....
You keep repeating same thing over and over but do not have a basic understanding...
All your ancient history is from South India.....Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu etc.....Dravidian languages......

Now if you see, there are majority of words with an additional letter "A" in the end. for example..

Rama=Ram
Deva=Dev
Ayurveda=Ayurved or Ayurvedic
Bharata=Bharat
Ramayana=Ramayan
Dharma=Dharm

and you know better then me, you can add more to the list.

So with the passage of time, when North Indians came into the scene, they had/have issues with the pronunciation etc....and they started to drop that "A", and you end up with present day words and pronunciation.

Which messed up so many people and their understandings of the words/origin/meanings.....hence, the reason Most Indians have a "strange mindset and understanding" of ancient history, and it only happened when North Indians took over.....

So, the lesson which we learn from this story is...

Gandhar = Gandhara

Not the Afghanistan / Kandhar.

I hope I was able explain properly.

Indus valley too was part of BHARAT which spanned from Afghanistan till SAYAM.....

Yes there was no India before British but there was BHARAT before even the first British saw the God's green earth....

The name BHARAT has it's routes back to SATYA YUG which was even older than DWAPAR YUG....

BHARAT name was given to this country when king BHARAT (younger brother of lord RAM) was ruling Ayodhya.... this country, this civilization is that older.....

How can you say that BHARAT was never a civilization???? This country is infact the home of more than one civilization.... indus civilization was one among those.....

Do you know about India's 4 VEDAS???

YAJURVED,

RIGVED,

ATHARVAVED,

SAMVED

Try to know about them and you will know how advanced Indian civilization was...

Who gave AYURVEDA to this world???

Who gave YOGABHYAS (YOGA) to this world???

Who invented ZERO???

Who was the source for all this???

Is all this possible without some civilization????

Pakistan never had any identity before 1947, a concept developed in 1930s.....

Even Alexander the great said he would invade HIND OR BHARAT..... nobody said they were going to invade Pakistan.....

Even Vasco de Gama and Columbus were on the hunt for India or BHARAT.... nobody was on hunt for Pakistan.....

Keep hate aside and think..... you will know which country is ARTIFICIAL and which country is ORIGINAL.....

The trouble with members like you is that you enter an argument with very little knowledge and information, and then are swamped by opposing members with only slightly better knowledge and information. By the time a couple of score posts have been posted, there is so much misinformation, so much addled or deliberately distorted evidence that a clean-up is almost impossible. Look at the utter bilge that has been posted here; where would anyone trying to set things right even begin?

Aryans passed by Pakistan and settled in India. They established caste system and other ideas on gullible Gangetic peoples.

If you look at even Vedas, the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan rejected the caste system. Even a Brahmin was not allowed to stay beyond three days in this place.

Pakistani Hindus today, even, do not consider themselves part of the same religion as Indian Hindus.

Besides Aryan (initial Iranic settler) heritage, we had further Iranic migration into Pakistan and Afghanistan which now forms a significant part of our genetics in the form of Scythians, Kushans, and Hepthalites. Then you have our unique Hellenic and Persian periods. Unique Arab empire also in Sindh.

After Gandhara and the Greek-Buddhist states like Taxilla, Peshawar, etc., Pakistan and Afghanistan remained majority Buddhist until the advent of Islam.

Our history had been different from India throughout our ancient periods, this is why Pakistan is what it is today and we moved away from the "forced marriage of two unwilling partners" that Quaid e Azam described as the British Indian union.
