Start Business in Pakistan

As on this Forum Pakistan community consists of large number of overseas Pakistanis, who love there country so much and want to come back to their motherland and want to settle down in Pakistan.

So everybody wants to know that what kind of business one can start. I hope their can be wide range of business setups, one can start.


Please give your opinions about different kind of business setups in Pakistan keeping in mind the following budgets. Also let us know how much one can earn from that kind of business, what is the possible growth rate.

There can be different kind of investments one can be interested in.

1- upto 10 Lakh Pakistani Rupees (most people are interested in this category - small business)
2- 10 to 20 Lakh Pakistani Rupees


Please give positive suggestions.

My Idea is to open a small fastfood restaurant in Lahore/Gujranwala, please suggest regarding the foood etc and trends.

I have been considering the construction industry. The brick making industry, namely the BTK or VSBK design kilns for making bricks. This has a very rate rate of returns. I am also looking into making sports equipment. I know of a company which started off very small and is now on ebay and has its own website and is turning over 8 million pounds annually now. So alot of choose from as both categories are very much apart. Let me know and we can share ideas.

lol the only thing I hear from Pakistan is locals open cng stations and auto spare parts shops.

Unless govt cooperates, such is the state that a land owner/farmer tries to sell/export suppose 50,000 RS worth agriculture products, govt ask for 40,000 for themselves, 5 thousand other charges left is 5000 profit back to square one work hard earn enough to feed you own family only.
