When is the 20 Km orbital flight. That is the final stepping stone before a new dawn in space travel
SN8 will perform the 20km hop. The construction of SN8 is almost completed. I think SpaceX will conduct a couple of more hops with SN5 and SN6 to gather data and validate systems. so a month or two before the 20km hop.
I am unable to make out if the stage is shaking at the beginning and end, or is it the cameraman.
Just think 5 years sending a tiny rocket up high and llanding it was considered an incredible achievement.
The SN builds by SpaceX are just an insane size compared to the New Shepard

Next test is SN 7.1 with the new 304L steel alloy to destruction on Sunday. I expect they’ll hop SN5 again and maybe SN6.
As you said SN8 is getting closer to completion. They still have to stack the nosecone, add aerosurfaces, and three Raptors. My bet is October for 20km flight with sky dive and pitch maneuver, maybe November.
Super Heavy High Bay is nearly complete and the orbital launch mount is moving fast. Elon said the first SH prototype begins construction this week.
I vote out of the blue planet. When is the 20 Km orbital flight. That is the final stepping stone before a new dawn in space travel
My goodness, SpaceX's speed is stunning. Wasn't aware of SH construction beginning already this week.
They are clearly aiming at proving as much of the technology as possible before NASA selects one or two companies for their lunar lander contract.
Nice. It seemed as though the engine was still flaming after it landed. Should it not have turned off as soon as?
