Frankly speaking this manned space program is a waste of money.India is not going to achieve anything by sending people to space.Unmanned missions have helped India a lot but nothing good is going to come out of this manned space program.It is just being done to satisfy the ego.

Not really..... Everyone is In search for Helium 3, This Isotope could Power Entire Earth...Has a Good Thermodynamic Property and is a non-radioactive isotope of helium.... Buddy Going to Moon is So much Important...

Going to the moon is not that easy.Do you really think India has the financial strength to develop crafts that can reach the moon collect helium and then come back.I may sound anti Indian but the reality is that we are still a third world country with millions still below the poverty line.Our cities are plagued with outdated and dilapidated infrastructure.many in our country do not have access to clean drinking water.Common sense will tell that we must not pursue a manned space program.Feeding millions of hungry and developing infrastructure is much more important than hunting helium -3.

As i mentioned in my earlier post i am totally for unmanned programs as they help the nation ultimately.

Its Not at all Easy , If it was So ISRO would Have done it way before... ISRO is Not New to This field and Its Not a Single Venture, its a Joint Venture with Russia...

Do you really think India has the financial strength to develop crafts that can reach the moon collect helium and then come back.

Its Not about collecting Helium, Its About Making a Detailed Study of that Isotope... See We Might also Be funded By USA and Other Nations Partially If we Are successful In this, Because International Space Station Is Up there and We could Be really benefited from this As We Might be Entrusted with Supplying them Fuel and Other Accessories....

Do you think these programs Will Only Benefit Scientists, Engineers and Junior Engineers??? Well U are wrong there Sir, Each and Every Project taken Up Feeds thousands Indirectly, Look At the Jobs Created in the Labor Sector Just for Building Infrastructure alone...

Now U cannot Go to each and Every poor Mans House And Hand Him Over some money personally Can u?? He Needs Job and U are Giving him job by Benefiting the Nation in both the ways...
