Reports coming in several talks between China and India have failed. Both China and India sent additional troops to LAC, this is an escalation.

India may have to agree to surrender the territory it once held to appease Chinese for peace unless it wants to escalate.

In the past both sides have agreed to withdraw from the area. This appears to be different as China has begun building infrastructure and bringing large number of personnel and assets across the LAC onto the Indian side.

This doesn't appear like they are ready to withdraw rather they are ready to settle the area. I don't see India getting this territory back.

Have to wait and see, but as of now this appears different from past border clashes. Currently all talks have failed thus far between China and India.
