He is being sarcastic.. I know where he is coming from, he wants to prove that as Rao killed some MQM people who were not terrorists but labelled as terrorists and no investigation was ever conducted against Rao the pig, similarly, all people belonging to Mehsuds are terrorists..

Where are all those fan boys of this Kutta from Punjab and Fata now. Pakistan has really become one messed- up country. It is totally divided on racial and ethnic lines a complete miracle that all 4 provinces are still there as a single country.

Bull shit ,, I am a proud muhajir, dont make this a racial issue, this is not about pathan or mahajir but this is about innocent and guilty,,, Naqib Mahsood is not the first innocent Pathan killed by this dog likewise this dog has killed many innocent Muhajir as well but it does not means that all the muhajir/pathan captured or killed were innocent ...

THings have changed now and law order is back in Karachi, have you forgotten the days when murder of a dozen people a day was routine,,, they were not being killed by alliens, so thanks to Rangers and Raheel Sharif for cleaning my city and no thanks to stupid people like you ...

By the grace of Allah the rising up of people Pakistan will save life of many Muhajir Naqib as well this is about saving innocents not saving pathans

Exactly.... I'm a muhajir/urdu speaker too and as saddened by the death of this young man as anyone else. People forget that we are Pakistanis first and muhajir, pathan, punjabi, sindhi, baluchi, kashmiri, seriaki etc etc second.

FIA to reward officer who foiled Rao Anwar’s escape bid

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) will reward its immigration officer Taimor who foiled bid of former Malir SSP Rao Anwar to flee the country.

According to sources, Taimor recognised the officer accused of killing Naqeebullah Mehsud in a staged encounter as the later approached his immigration counter at Rawal Lounge of the Benazir International Airport here.

“As soon as I saw his passport and tried to match the picture with his face I realised this man appears on TV regularly,” Taimor told his superior during the investigation. Sources said there was no alert on the airport about Rao Anwar as his name was not included in the Exit Control List (ECL) when he tried to fly to Dubai through a private airline in the wee hours of Tuesday.

Soon after realising that the traveller is high profile accused, Taimor asked him to produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) which is required for all government employees travelling abroad. Rao Anwar produced a document in response but Taimor said the document does not appear genuine and he needs to verify the authenticity of the same.

The case was referred to Taimor’s seniors and soon top FIA officials were made aware of the attempted escape of the controversial police officer. Finally after a couple of hours Rao Anwar was allowed to leave the airport along with his luggage which was offloaded on the directions of FIA.

While asked why Rao Anwar was not arrested at the airport, a senior official of the FIA said the agency was not aware of the criminal charges against him. “The officer present only knew that Anwar was facing some inquiry but no one at that time knew the nature of charges and whether he could be arrested on the basis of those charges.”

However later on Tuesday the Supreme Court directed the ministry of interior to place the name of the police officer on the exit control list. “We are proud of our officer Taimor and he will be rewarded for his alert-mindedness,” a senior official told The News requesting anonymity.

A lot of reasons why Naqeebullah's death caught everyone's attention - he was a very good looking young man aspiring to become a model and there were plenty of images and videos on social media to back up those claims. The pretext used to kill him (he was a radical TTP militant) simply could not be accepted because of all the other publicly available information mentioned above.

Had he been accused of being a 'target killer belonging to the MQM', none of the social media stuff, model aspirations etc would have necessarily negated the accusations.

Am I wrong in assuming that this incident wouldn't have gone so big had it not been a young, good looking man who was killed?
