In my theory, tactical UAVs will mostly be used in defensive purposes. Operated by a battalion-size unit say, a commando battalion. It will fly over friendly forces and provide tactical avareness. If enemy elements enter 60mm mortar range, commanders will be able to take measures prior to engagement. This could reduce our casuality rate even if the unit is at a lower ground.I'd like to caution on too many UAV in the air, if the sky is full of them the PKK may find different way to operate, so I'd prefer that they're invisible in the sky and rain death upon them.
Unable or enable?
The new Armed-UAV being under development way before than this desicion, wont be a new version of ANKA but new one with powerfull turbo-prop engine (maybe two). It will be completely different design based on sucessful ANKA experiences.

The right question should be what will ANKA-B have in common with the MALE variantSo what difference this and ANKA-B will have?

Trubine engine, SATCOM and weapons payload are biggest differences one could tell.

"The ability to team manned and unmanned systems is establishing itself as a highly desirable capability for militaries possessing higher-end platforms, and TAI is not planning to be left out of this club. Barlas said the company is looking to conduct an exercise linking Anka with the T-129 attack helicopter. Initially this would involve the transmission from the UAV to the helicopter of imagery only, but this could later expand to include control of the payload."
