Also procurement of propulsion systems of 3rd & 4th MİLGEMs will be made by STM... Nothing more announced...

(BTW Does it mean STM will try to supply these propulsion systems with some indigenous parts?)

Damn... you engineers are speaking too technically.. I can't understand

At least i'm being honest. :)

But i'm going to look into this thrust/weight ratio and it's importance to aircraft. I mean yes it is important but how does effect when you consider overall weight of the aircraft.

Guys which one is the supply ship ?.. This one ?.. I found this in our navy's website as the pic of that project... I guess pic is just for representation...

Engine is probably the heaviest thing on the aircraft, there's a certain hardness the engine materials has to have but the rest of the aircraft can be made from very light materials mostly.

I think you can also be sure that F110-GE132 isn't as fuel-efficient as the other engines either. It's improved on the older F110s on our F16s but it's still almost a generation behind F135.

Twin F110 was always what I wanted but now I'm having doubts :/
What I want is a fighter aircraft with supercruise capability on combat load.

F135 wasn't designed to have a supercruise capability but F35 is so light it can maintain mach 1.2 without afterburners. I want to know if we can do the same with twin F110s

Titanium alloys are quiet light actually, but your probably right a engine is a huge piece in a fighter so its probably the heavyest thing in it alongside the weaponry.
