I think the time has come to accept defeat in Kahmir and move on. We should surrender Kashmir to Pakistan and it's people, the occupation is inhuman and brutal.

You need to understand just one small sentence ie. MISSION KASHMIR IS FAILED so the more you try to rejuvenate it the more you get deeper in the pit.

You havent learned even a zilch that "what you give is what you get"... because of Kashmir you lost Bangladesh, FATA was never in your control and Baluchistan and SindhuDesh are gradually asking for freedom.Now even after losing 45,000 of your own countrymen you are following the path of terrorism.

2) It is only applicable if both the parties(yes UN recognizes only two parties to the dispute, 'people' are not recognized as a party to the dispute) agree to with.

You can spin it any way you want. The fact is that the UN recognizes that the Kashmiri people should have the final say in the matter and the current setup does not reflect their wishes.

The two parties in question are so listed because they are recognized members of the UN. The UN cannot order some random group of people to do something.

And one of the UN defined pre-conditions of holding the referendum are
Pakistan moves out its troops and non Kashmiri personnel out of AJK, Northen areas and let India hold the referendum there.
Where as they are inducting Northen areas(GB) as a part of Pakistan.So clearly they are not ready for a referendum.

Also they need to get back the Kashmiri land they gifted to China.

So unless you can convince Pakistani to fulfill these pre-requisites , referendum can not be held.

Are yaar in 1947 no one could have thought that BD would be a free country.But even if Baluchistan,SindhuDesh and FATA doesnt become free countries do you think the current situation is taking you any further? Today you are in the undeclared civil war just like Syria.The terrorist have become too independent from the factories you created to harm India and today you are the target.

Its still time to wake up and even if you wake up today it would take a decade to clean up provided Army/ISI/Govt all work together.Pakistan has lot of potential but it has to renounce terrorism.

It is not spinning ..it is fact..holding a referendum(ie asking the will of people) is only one of the non mandatory suggestion and is not central to resolution of the dispute...as was proved by Musharffs 4-point formula /Chenab formula etc.

Bottom line here is..area being disputed , does not make it an occupied area.
