Only thing that happened in Kargil war was that your coward soldiers got butchered and torn to pieces.

The main targets for Kargil Operation were to a) Occupy approximately 700 sq km area on the Indian side of the LoC in Kargil-Turtuk Sector and we did that, b) Interdict Srinagar-Kargil-Leh Road, c) Capture Turtuk and cut off Southern and Central parts of Siachin Glacier Sector, and d) Intensify freedom fighters activities in Indian Occupied Kashmir and we did that, your coward soldiers were massacred and killed and stoned to death.

Second one Indian government never exaggerate the number of people died in Kashmir.. I think you got that point..
This news clearly shows that govt of India admits in between 1989-2009 , total of 47000 died in Kashmir insurgency.. Actually Pakistan says much more died..

"Two jawans and seven civilians were injured in a grenade attack at a CRPF patrol team in Shopian district," Times Now reported.

Meanwhile, the operation to flush-out militants holed up inside a government building in Pampore area on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway entered the second day today, even as security forces launched a fresh offensive against the ultras.


An army official said the area around the Entrepreneurship Development Institute(EDI) premises has been cordoned off and exchange of fire was going on.


"Security forces have launched a fresh offensive this morning to flush-out the militants," the official said.


Two to three militants stormed into the EDI complexes in the wee hours on and took positions inside one of the buildings.
