Sri Sri Says He Rejected Nobel Peace Prize, Calls Malala Undeserving

Selective socialism is for greater good. But if a healthy male wants his breakfast to be served on his bed by the government, nothing can be more shameful that this.
very well put, I have in the past tried to explain nicely to jamahir but he's beyond help.

She got shot in head. She got to write a novel, a place in UN, Nobel Peace Prize.

How many people get shot daily? How many women get shot daily? How many children get shot daily?

are you being satirical or are you actually in agreement with him??

yes, the western governments want to create a puppet out of malala but surely you can see that she won't be that... what malala desires is socialism as the answer to the problem of south asia, totally opposite to what usa government desires... please read[1] :

malala is the kind of peope the subcontinent needs to get itself freed of the pre-1947 capitalist and reactionary era it is still stuck in.

really??

and your washing away of existing and continuing oppressions and injustices under the carpet called "millions are happy" is the same as the nationalist indians washing away the deluge of oppressions in india.

besides, a single injustice should not be ignored.

do you want to be in that wrong category?? :)

why don't you enquire with 'cnn news18' right now??

Her own people think she does not deserve Nobel.

Malala did not deserve Nobel Peace Prize, say residents of her Swat Valley home

If you ask me, free healthcare for underprivileged, free education in all levels, job security for BPL holders and parents with single child, crops insurance and right to water for farmers are the need of the situation.

in the 2000s, then Atal ji proposed the river linking project, these commies are the first object that move. Now they are crying for governments role in tackling drought.

the article is from 2013 ( she got the award the next year ) and speaks of the swatis then being either fearful of taliban revenge attacks or brainwashed by pro-mullah forces or some being disappointed that she did not get the award.

so a mix of emotions.

i am sure the sceptics and lot of the haters changed their opinion in 2014.

But he surely got a taste for watches costing above $10,000, which most Wall Street bankers and Bangalore Software coolie cannot afford. So, taking equality into account, does everyone in Cuba owns Rolexes?

are you sure it was the high cost of the watches he liked or perhaps the flamboyance associated with it??

you are right that cuba should have gotten the ussr to create a high-quality watch factory in cuba ( maybe there is ) to equal rolex or established by itself, and its products been provided for free to cuban citizens as a basic right, much like how other services are provided for free there and people are happy.

but there are differences in interpretation of socialism/communism in various countries and movements.

and i don't know if that's a rolex he wore.

and as in the beginning of of my post, this was a certain individual taste he had, much like how carlos likes to wear the cravat.

but this is besides the point.

so in a capitalist dispensation why can't everyone afford these watches or even basic food??

So, how could you point your finger to someone who's driving a Rolls Royce or Bentley or Jaguar? Maybe it's not because of the price or exclusivity, but the heritage of British motor sport and superior mechanical integrity? Or how could you point your finger at someone living in a mansion or a 17th century Castle? Maybe its not the luxury, maybe it's because of the architecture and history associated with it?

Or how could you pick on someone wearing a $3000 Armani suit, maybe because it's too comfortable and classic for his taste?

See, its so easy to spin words.

so in a capitalist dispensation why can't everyone afford these watches or even basic food??

If everyone could afford Rolex, then there would be no Rolex, and no sense of achievement getting one. As they say, you don't buy a Rolex, you deserve a Rolex.

And very few people does.

There is a watch for everybody, its called HMT. My father had one for 25 years, later he moved to Citizen.

Man trust me on this she never got shot in the head and she never was unconscious either. I am not sure if she even got shot at all or not, but this was told to me by someone who had a close look at her when she was at Peshawar CMH and you know the funny thing is her father was very happily chatting with people when she was supposed to be fighting for life. I guess he was just happy that the American plan worked fine and now he could move his entire family to UK. There was this Pakistani boy who lost his life and saved his entire school and people don't even know about him.

Much of the world's population, especially in poor countries, is made up of children and young people. To achieve a peaceful world, it is crucial that the rights of children and young people be respected. Injustices perpetrated against children contribute to the spread of conflicts to future generations. Already at eleven years of age Malala Yousafzai fought for girls' right to education. After having suffered an attack on her life by Taliban gunmen in 2012, she has continued her struggle and become a leading advocate of girls' rights.
^ was the motivation she get the Nobel, a proud for Pakistan and don't know what the west won to give her that. Na Shukuri Qoum.

I was not their neither was this individual, it is a matter of common sense, it became a global issue, if their was any propaganda would the British NHS have colluded with the whoever was behind the colluding, would General Kayani have specially flown over if she was not in a critical condition, we all here stories about USA not landing on the moon, or that Elvis is still alive.......let us add this to the list.kudos

Malala Fought for her life and she did brave the gunshots. I would stand with her irrespective of the award. as far as this politically motivated award is concerned well it is good for nothing
