SL is not rich to waste its ammo on civilians. SL targeted terrorists and not civilians. There is a reason civilians crossed the defence lines and came towards SL army. Talk about things you know.
Whom are you kidding ? Sinhalas eternal enemies are Tamils and out of their Buddhist compassion they suddenly developed love for Tamil civilian !! To Buddhist Sinhala racists all Tamils are LTTE and thats the reason why there is no effort to demilitarize Tamil homeland by the occupying force, 6 yrs after the Tamil genocide.
The war was an excuse to eliminate Tamils under the guise of fighting 'terrorism'. Strange how the world fell for your propaganda - when the Kurds fight IS its freedom but when Tamils fight the Buddhists Talibans (South Asia's version of IS) - then its terrorism
Could you please tell me that racist laws? SL as any multi ethnic country we have its fair share of ethnic riots as India ha]sikh riots, Gujrat massacre, Bombay riots and still continuing in Assam.
Can a non Buddhist Sinhala, Tamil or Muslim be the Prez or PM of Lanka ?
You hide under the multi ethnic mask to hoodwink the world , the reality is Lanka is Buddhist ethnocentric., which cannot be taken out of the SInhala DNA,and also enshrined in the national constitution to extend patronage , protect and preserve Buddhism.
"Sri Lanka is the centre of Theravada Buddhism. It is the duty and responsibility of everyone to preserve it for the future generations. The Government, the bhikkus, the Buddhist societies and organizations, and the Buddhist people should work for this because preserving Buddhism in Sri Lanka leads to the development of worldwide Buddhism. Further, the Commission believes that its recommendations do not disturb the constitutional rights of the followers of other religions, while it improves the harmony rather than animosity among people who follow various religions"
