Sri Lankan cricket team to tour Pakistan soon

Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on Monday assured that Sri Lankan cricket team will tour Pakistan soon.

Sirisena, who is on his first state to Pakistan, announced this during a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart President Mamnoon Hussain.

Condemning the tragic attack on Sri Lankan Cricket Team in Lahore in 2009, President Mamnoon Hussain expressed hope that Sri Lankan cricket team will tour Pakistan. He assured the President Sirisena that maximum security will be provided to the visiting team.

No test side has toured Pakistan since March, 2009 when militants attacked the Sri Lankan team in Lahore, killing six Pakistani policemen and injuring some of the visiting players.

Last month, cricket boards of Ireland and Zimbabwe had expressed their willingness to tour Pakistan. While non-test-playing Kenya played five one-day internationals in Lahore last year in December.

Drones mounted with HD cameras should be above ground with HD cameras in ground and polished broadcast led by Ramiz and Wasim.

Pakistan needs to show the world they are capable of hosting cricket. Make it a spectacle. No ufone adverts please.

And for all the people who have fear over this and don't want international cricket to be played, all I have to say is don't be cowards.

Before the military parade so many people were saying don't hold it, this will happen, that will happen. But it through smoothly.

This not the time to be cowards.

Sri Lankans have been true friends, after looking at how the attack happened on their team in Pakistan and how they reacted after that by not making a hype of it, which other team would rethink of sending their players again to Pakistan? Even our dearly brothers who owe us their test status refused to come multiple times.

You got no proof to substantiate that. But according to the umpires your commandos ran leaving behind the Sri Lankan Team. Even the attackers managed to flee.
