What's new

Sri Lanka welcomes it's first Indian build AOPV at Colombo harbour.

. . .
In armament, the Chinese FAC looks well armed as the Pakistani one.
Type 22 carries short ranged ASMs... while Himmat Carries Pak LR Anti Ship and Land attack missiles.

Type 22 is armed with AK 630? While Himmat is armed with SMASH.

Himmat also has much more endurance and carries other goodies.. which Type 22 lacks.

Reusing existing systems could potentially boost this unit at a very low cost example

Re-using Israel's Gabriel missiles landed by at least one of the Sa'ar class, the P-702, including part of the electronics, and indeed the 76/62 Oto Melara can also be used, as the P-702 seems to be currently being used Like a naval patrol.

Then to the stern 2 CIWS Russian AK-630 30mm or Chinese
Yes, one becomes a fairly dissuasive corvette , below, playing with pictures, as it might appear

17 have publically crashed.

Post your source that less than 10 have crashed.

I am pointing out that the 4 Dhruvs which crashed and murdered innocent Ecuadorians is the 100% fault of HAL

Nothing to do with thread. Troll plz have some pride

Total of 16 accidents out of which 11 crashes occured in India (2 civilian and 9 military) and 5 abroad crashes out of a total 231 built. 12 out of the 16 crashes are due to human error or environmental factors but not due to technical issues. Only 9 military crashes but you claimed hundreds of Aviation pilots are being killed to keep the HAL engineers employed.

Well said.

Well there is a ready template to arm the vessel with a reasonable suite.
The Saryu Class OPV of the Indian Navy (SLNS Sayurala is based on these vessels)

76mm Oto Melara SRGM with Anti Air and Anti Surface capability and two AK 630 CIWS with Anti Air and Anti Surface capability.

.
Do list the systems you put on the vessel
Example, for a very low cost , re-using system or the Israel's Sa'ar classe (P-701- P-702):
Gabriel missiles (they should still be available in the island)
76/62 Oto Melara (P-702)
including part of the electronic - air & surface search radar and fire-control radar
+
2 x Russian AK-630, or licensed copy made in India, or Chinese version ( to buy)

Or if you want to spend more money, excellent Lord Or Gondor option, plus you can add Gabriel missiles
