Back to the topic, I am not going to deny the fact that India played a major role in the creation of LTTE. But we more than make up for it with the lives of 2000 Indian soldiers and Rajiv Gandhi-The Son paid with his life for the mistake of his Mother.During the last days of LTTE-SLA war there was huge pressure on the Indian Govt to stop the war from the Tamil allies even if it meant sending in the Indian Military..but India chose to help SL by blockading the LTTE and transferring information about the LTTE movements especially their 'Floating Warehouses' to SL Navy. In short LTTE could never been defeated without the participation of India. India did that because we understood our folly and wanted to reverse the mistake.

India and SL are brothers, we share the same culture but it is in SL's interest to play your foreign relations card carefully or else you will be sucked into the vortex of global power games played by regional/superpowers like what happened to Pakistan. SL must remember that China is thousands of kilometers away while India is only less than 100 km away. Anyways SL can always count on India. During the 2004 Asian Tsunami, it was IN that came to your help not PN or PLAN.

he also says that we should be with India but not in a way you expect someone to say..

He's typical of the rest of Sinhala extremists sitting and desperately trying to show themselves as different, just like some other countries try to in the region. With Lankans killing off Tamils violently, the LTTE was bound to happen, with or without GOI's support. He's seriously confused the way he talks. First he says we're supporting terror all over south Asia and then he says SL should be with us. This shows his confused state of mine.

The same conditions as your officials trying to secure one in restive Balochistan through Gwadar. Secured the Chinese workers yet or the rebels still holding them? Mongolian base was scrapped off by our own government even as the proposal was raised. A few dozen jets in Mongolia cannot be of much help in case of a you-vs-us scenario. You should know this better than anyone here.
