The President of Asian Olympic Council and the President of the Associations of the National Olympic Committees (ANOC) Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al- Sabah confirmed that Sri Lanka will host the Asian Youth Games 2017.
Theres no reason to say No for a country which has every facility to host a world class event he said. Sri Lanka along with Thailand, Qatar, Uzbekistan, Indonesia and Dubai had bided for the event and Sri Lanka has won the bid.
