I’m not even Wahabbi and most Non-Muslims don’t even know what Wahabbi means, just like how they don’t understand why burqa/niqab is important for a religious Muslim woman.

If you don’t value your minority’s religious requirement, then you won’t feel any remorse for banning it.

It is a practice of the wives and daughters of the Prophet Muhammad saws and in authentic hadith, it is deemed a praiseworthy action.

Hazrat Maryam AS, mother of Isa/Jesus AS, was permanently in pardah/seclusion and wore similar clothes as a burqa and niqab when going out.

Quite ironic since these Daesh criminals attacked Christian holy places.

Face covering was never commanded in the holy scripture and those who do not cover their faces but only cover their hair/head using hijab etc are not " moderate muslims" but are simply not doing what they are not required to.
There is no such thing as moderate izlum etc. One is either a good muslim or bad and one has to reflect and decided himself( in case of personal acts or omissions that only affect him/her in personal capacity & only they are accountable for them) unless the acts in question( those that affect public at large) are done overtly whereby others around you can make the determination. It is not a requirement on every Muslim woman, but is haram to forbid a woman from niqab/burqa if she chooses to do so.

By demonizing burqa/niqab, certain segments of Non-Muslim societies (like in France, Quebec, India, etc.) are waging war on an aspect of Islam.

Today it is burqa/niqab, tomorrow it will be beards, hijab, caps, shalwar kameez, thawbs, kefiyya, and jilbabs.

Furthermore for those railing against Arabic culture, they forget that Islam is a religion with an Arabic origin.

That's a wrong analogy because Muslims do not lynch those who eat pork or consume liquor. I'm a witness to this because I've done both of these things - right in front of my Muslim friends.

Actually the analogy is perfect, since pork is Haraam for Muslims and beef for the hardcore Hindus. So what’s good for the gander is good for the geese.
Also, no Hindu has lynched me for eating beef in front of them (being born into a Hindu family myself) or my Muslim friends.
Just that beef is not served in India as per the states with the local laws. Hardcore Hindus give two shits about who eats beef as long as it’s not being served to them or in India.
I reckon Muslims wouldn’t like pork being served in their halal restaurants. So think of this as the same.

And Hindus don’t lynch people for alleged blasphemy or when people mock their gods as is done on PDF on a routine basis. So the tally is equal based on the sensitivity of each religion to that particular topic.
