you are right about DMK and ADMK...they become serious when it comes to national security...vaiko is bit dangerous..but he too can be adjustable at the last...
eezham issuer often arise at the time of election...no political party is different..all are using this for their own benefits...after the election all settles down....the so howling Tamil political parties didn't do anything for the upliftment of poor ceylonese Tamils living in refugee camps...they are living there without any basic amenities...no education, toilets, jobs etc etc...because they don't have the rights to vote..so no vote bank....
Sri Lanka : NPC Chief Minister declines Sri Lankan President\'s invitation to join him for Indian PM\'s inauguration
May 23, Colombo: Chief Minister of the Northern Provincial Council, Justice C.V. Wigneswaran has declined the invitation extended by the Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa to accompany him to the swearing in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister- elect Narendra Modi.
In a communiqué to the External Affairs Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris, the Chief Minister has said that he is unable to accept the government's "warm welcome" as the gesture would indicate that the relations between the government and the Northern Province are harmonious.
Wigneswaran said he cannot accept the invitation primarily because an acceptance would "indicate that there exists a strong co-operative spirit prevailing between the Center and the Province."
President Rajapaksa extended the invitation to the Chief Minister to join the presidential delegation to attend the swearing-in ceremony on Monday (May 26) in New Delhi.
"It is an auspicious sign that the historic election of Shri Narendra Modi has revived in the Government of Sri Lanka a sense of co-operation and partnership towards the Northern Province," the Chief Minister wrote.
He said, while people in the North are "engulfed in a climate of fear on account of the Military while the activities of the Northern Provincial Council have been stultified," accepting an invitation from the government would make him feel "guilty of facilitating tokenism".
Wigneswaran said he, however, has already extended his wishes to Narendra Modi through the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the spirit of partnership and goodwill expressed by the President's invitation would continue to ensure the electoral mandate of the Northern Province is fulfilled and fundamental rights of the people are preserved
just remember - when LTTE was around there was question of China establishing bases in SL
how worse can it get from the present - read the CM Wigneswaran above statement - highlighted for your convenience ? and you have no shame in exposing India's impotency in dealing with SL or is this lethargy only restricted to Dravidian Tamils?

Sri Lanka 'happy' Jayalalithaa lost clout in New Delhi - The Times of India
COLOMBO: Sri Lanka on Monday said it is pleased that Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa has lost any bargaining power with the Narendra Modi government because of the majority BJP has on its own in the recently-concluded Lok Sabha polls.
Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa's administration was pleased that it could do business with the Centre without Tamil Nadu exercising undue influence, Lanka's media minister and government spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella said.
"A powerful government in Delhi is very good for us. Whatever the decision Centre takes, it will be without any undue influence from states like Tamil Nadu.
"We are very happy that there is a very strong government and Prime Minister (-elect) Modi does not have to depend on any other party for his majority. This means even if Jayalalithaa had won 37 out of 39 seats in Tamil Nadu, she would not be in a position to influence the Centre," Rambukwella told reporters here.
He said Rajapaksa was among the first foreign leaders to congratulate Modi after his spectacular victory and said both leaders had "a lot of similarities" but did not elaborate.
Modi had led the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to a massive victory in the general elections, with the party alone getting 282 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha.
what your problem now, I referred you to the CM's statement on existing conditions in Tamil Eelam and you are introducing a new fishermen herring ?
I don't wish to get distracted by your stupidity - the fishing industry in the under SL navy control - and most of the fishermen are resettled Sinhala's from the south.
International poaching is common if TN fishermen stray into so called "Lankan waters' so do the Lankans even as recent as 22th May 2014.
But there's no need to kill fishermen for straying in international waters, India had done nothing to stop Lankan Navy killing 700 + Tamilnadu fishermen , even your arch rival Pakistan don't kill but not your 'friendly ' neighbor ?

leave him....he is not even a tamil....he is a ceylonese muslim.....We knows the real behaviour of tamils.
SL Tamils even complained about these nasty behaviour of Indian Tamils. They dont have larger nets or high power trawlers. And theirs main income is from these marine resources. And Tamils from my nation regularly blocking their lifeline
Noone ask Tamils to go in to their waters .And we dont trust these 700 claim .You can keep that blabbering in your own state for the domestic consumption and political advantage.Even a small kid can understand the consequences
that the SL may face if they shoot 700 Indians. These so called Tamil brothers in TN dont even cared about poor SL refugees in TN.Otherwise they can become a successful society like Tibetans in India.
leave him....he is not even a tamil....he is a ceylonese muslim.....
neenga solrathu sari thaan....modi padhavi la yerattum..apparam paapoom.....hope they will not repeat past mistakes.....May be you are right......... It's a fact tamils aren't considered first grade Indians. Only we are saying as Indians indians, no one say as Indians. Where is Indian Nationalism? A country which spends more than 1lakh crore for military, was silent when more than 500 fishermen fell prey for the srilankan bullets. Then why we need this military? to spray flowers on our funeral? why they required? what country is this?.. If fallen fishermen are considered Indians and a fitting response was given, there Indian nationalism might have lived. Even a drop of tear wasn't shed in the funeral for the fallen fishermen, this where Tamil Nationalism born inside us.
