In the 80s India sent ~60K forces to SL to suppress the Tamil Rebels, which were created at the first place by India herself!!!! At one point, SL tried to choke off the Tamil areas of foreign help, but India threatened with her Air Force to drop aid to the Tamil areas!!!! Playing too much double game cost the former Indian PM Rajiv Gandhi his life via a Tamil suicide bomber!! By the by, SL could at last get rid of the Tamil insurgents with a great help from Pak Army and using the Chinese weapons!!! So, SL has a memory, and exactly knows what she's doing....
