You need to get your country to stop interfering in the affairs of other nations. Until then your country will be "pulled everywhere."

Prove it that Sirisena is an Indian stooge; or for that matter anyone from Chandrika has ever been.

Either prove it with facts on don't take false names.

Remember it was your country that voted; if he underperforms, you can throw him out as well.

You were almost China minus the Hans with the level of contracts.

No one country whether us or others should dominate anyone fully. It should be a healthy trade relationship.

I know we messed up big time during UPA regime in India for 10 years and it was a disaster in foreign policy. But we are not hostile to SL and similarly don't want SL to be hostile to us.

His performance can be assessed because he has been in Sri Lankan politics for decades. He is basically an ignorant fool used by the then opposition to gain votes.

And you were saying that we installed him to power.

Please make up your mind; did we use him or did his party use him?

Ranil is the USA's puppet and Chandrika is Britain's puppet.

Sirisena is Ranil and Chandrika's bitch and an Indian puppet. Far more independent than currently.

And Rajapakse was China's puppet.

What are you trying to convey?

China has been a true friend of Sri Lanka - unlike India. India has stabbed Sri Lanka in the back many times over.

So if MR lost, it is our fault.

Isn't China far more powerful and influential?

Or you are confused about who is doing what.

If China has been your friend, that is your business.


Buddy, you need to rest your complex of neighbouring a larger country. If your paranoia cannot get off, take some time off and relax.

India has left Russia by the wayside and is sucking up the USA. China and Pakistan are true and tested friends of Sri Lanka - unlike India.

That's why we voted against the Syrian crisis, refused to stop trade with Iran (only increased it later) and refused to condemn Russia while standing by them internationally. Sure... That's sucking up... yeah.

Foreign policy is not becoming one party's little pet and getting personal favours from them.

You want to be another Cambodia, go ahead we don't care.

But to say that we installed Sirisena is insulting your own country's system.

You need to be a little more ardent at reading foreign policy and international affairs.

Pakistan's problems have a lot to do with internal politics. I like Pakistan and I wish them all the best. They have stood by Sri Lanka many many times.

Denying it won't change the reality. Pakistan's biggest problem was trying to remain neutral. They were so obsessed with gaining superiority the easier way over us, that they took the easier US/CEATO ally route, which is what destroyed their internal capabilities, and haunts them till this date.

While they jumped from one bandwagon to another, their country has suffered from the same. First USA for 50 years. When they started having tensions, they opted for China. But even China is a pragmatic country and doesn't accept Pakistan as a full blown client state.

PDF members' words and real numbers talk different. China still continues to balance all their partners and adversaries much better than what Pakistan does.

All I am saying is Sri Lanka should see its interests rather than becoming a source of other country's interests, by remaining balanced.

Remember we were also in your position once and are telling you from experience of Cold War.

As for the backstabbing, It was simply a retaliatory measure to your logistical involvement in the midst of a war we had with another country ongoing.

We have the option to move on to a positive accord from here.

You want to continue digging old wounds, you're free to. But you also have an option to move ahead.

The rest of Sri Lanka is looking towards a healthier and more trustworthy relationship.

Just ignore the elephant in the room that has land/maritime borders with all of these nations? Do you really think an ever more powerful and assertive India is going to sit back and let such an "alliance" take place?
