Such attacks were not abnormal in those days...muslim kings have perpetuated even violent attacks against Hinduism..but Hinduism is still there..compared to what muslims did to Hindus,what these Hindu kings did was nothing..anyway it was due to muslim inavasions and their brutalities Buddhism got wiped out(besides islam is more appealing to common masses than Buddhism...masses are generally materialistic in nature and get attracted to things which appeal to their senses

can you name a buddhist king who fought against Mughals? or made alliances with mughals? both cases can be found from hindus. buddhists were wiped out by hindus long before muslims arrived.
