I am unhappy at the fact that terrorists and Counter terrorists are both busy in killing innocent people, and then trying to deny the fact by declaring them as "terrorists"

CTD 99 % kill only terrorists. Not civilians. If they would have been killing civilians and not terrorists than terrorism would have not reduced.

The driver of that car was wanted terrorist and no doubt about it. But family thing turned out to be fiasco. And sadly this happens. Even in best case scenario some day civilians may end up loosing lives.

Yes that department has major role in reducing terrorism in Punjab. Not just FATA. TTP had massive sleeping cells inside Punjab and other parts of Pakistan. CTD along with ISI have done great job in finishing those sleeping cells in Punjab.

I don't know if you've ever been in a SWAT team. But SWAT teams are trained to neutralize the threat not have chai with the terrorist's whole family. Center mass no matter how many rounds it takes. You down the threat and protect your squad mates.

Now losing a few family members is not ideal but so is letting the perp get away and letting him kill hundreds of such families.

It would have been better if CTD had skills like spetsnaz in forcibly making the suspect dismount from the vehicle.

sure, living in UK and not facing the threat of getting shot at the police teaches you a lot of CTD
believe me, I get scared sh*tless even when I see a CTD double cabin on the road
they make me feel very safe.
