Special security services of Pakistan killed 2 ISIS terrorist which were linked to the abduction of Yousaf Raza Gilani’s son
Two speculated ISIS terrorists, who were supposedly involved in the abductions of previous prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s son and a US national, were killed by Pakistani security agencies in Punjab province, police stated Thursday.

The terrorists, recognized as Muhammad Rizwan and Imran Saqi, were executed in a late-night attack on a residence in Multan district on Wednesday, the Punjab Police’s counter-terrorism unit (CTD) department announced.

They were also included in the killing of three intelligence officers.

In a record, the CTD told that it obtained information that five terrorists of banned terror group ISIS were deceiving in a house in the district, around 350 km from Lahore.

It declared a team circled the house and told the terrorists to surrender. “The terrorists instead of surrendering freed fire on the raiding unit which returned fire, killing two terrorists on the spot while three of their helpers managed to escape taking benefit of darkness,” the CTD replied.

The terrorists had prepared to attack employees of intelligence agencies. Nine hand grenades, bombs, and weapons were confiscated from the house, it said.

They were committed in the kidnapping of US national Warren Weinstein in 2011 and Yosuf Gilani’s son Ali Haider Gilani in 2013.

Weinstein, who held abducted from Lahore, was unexpectedly killed in a US drone strike in 2015 on the Afghan border, while Haider Gilani was protected from Afghanistan after three years. The terrorists had also killed two police deputies in Faisalabad in an try to kidnap a senior law enforcement deputy. Presently this year, security agencies killed two other members of the group in Faisalabad in Punjab province.

LAHORE: The counter-terrorism department (CTD) claimed to have killed two alleged terrorists associated with a banned outfit in Multan on Wednesday night.

According to the CTD officials, two terrorist were gunned down in Multan during a gun battle, while three accomplices of them managed to flee from the scene after taking the advantage of darkness.

The terrorists, killed in late night shootout, were identified as Rizwan alias Doctor and Imran alias Saqi. CTD official claimed to have recovered weapons, explosive materials, maps and money from their possession.
The official said that the names of Rizwan and Imran are placed in the Red Book as they were involved in multiple cases of murder and robbery, including the killings of three officials of a sensitive institution and security guards.

So, how many innocents did the Terrorism Department kill this time?

.
Did no one notice 3 who ran off midfight? I mean has CTD not been trained in cordoning off the area prior to such raids? It is simply pathetic that a fully armed team lets 3 terrorists escape.

.
These 3 escapees will now come back and kill the informing person(s) so that next no one tips them off. This operation was not properly planned nor executed.

Probably in a custody in order get a lead for other terrorists and after that dead terrorists are good terrorists.

  • Ali Haider Gilani was rescued in Afghanistan three years after al-Qaeda militants abducted him from his hometown of Multan in Pakistan. He was campaigning for a provincial seat in parliamentary elections for the Pakistan People's Party. The BBC's Pakistan correspondent Shaimaa Khalil sat down with him for his first interview to international media. He opened up for the first time about his time in captivity and the dramatic turn of events that led to his release.
  • Ali Haider Gilani was rescued on Monday by a joint force of Afghan and U.S. commandos who attacked a house held by al Qaeda militants in Paktika province, just across the border from Pakistan.

From Al-Qaida to ISIS.

just like the young lady, her mother and father were terrorists? and were killed with reason?
I wonder why the Terrorism Department had to change its justifications three times, and then pin the blame on the driver.

Hopefully you can grab the next suicide bomber, have a detailed chat and then convince them to disarm.

Who is this SONALI KADAM which reported this?
SIR, good point raised ... whenever necessary for their interests they change the name of the terrorist group. At that time there was no clue of ISIS in AF-PAK. Now suddenly the connection has been established.
Indians are also doing the same, anything happens on Indian soil within minutes they established the link according to their wishlist.
USA is actual pioneer of this attitude and blinds immediately started to pick the bait.
