Special Kangroo court rejects Musharraf's plea for going abroad

Gen Musharraf has lost as much of the same respect for the Army that you speak of. There is no difference in the degree the reputation of both the man and the collective has fallen.

For an American like you may be. But not for many Pakistanis.

There are thousands of people who have done bad deeds than him.

Leave this guy alone and let him live in peace for rest of his life.

He is a patriot and has done what his country demanded.

Haven't Tayyip Erdogan done the same by putting Generals on trail who was trying to topple his government? Nobody bat an eye in turkey, but when a general comes on trial in Pakistan everybody looses their mind, why is that?

Can match the character of Erdogan with Nawaz Sharif :woot:

He toppled a democratically elected government. This crime is forgivable?

Yes , its forgivable. Toppling is not the first time in pk.

The real case here in case of mushy, is not of toppling but some people are hell bound to destroy him rather than playing rule of the land.
Its even obvious to the outsiders like me.

Please do keep in mind that the murderers of 50,000 Pakistanis were created and nourished by the very entity you support. To top it all, the Army then lost control of these snakes and let them lose on the whole nation. How is that acceptable to you Sir?

These snakes were created by Americans with the help of Nawaz sharif to be weakened Musharraf ... Musharraf was dealing to them in very right direction but Nawaz had started lawyers movement ... And then you saw the result all the mess of Pakistan ...........

This is the first time someone is taking some action against a dictator in Pakistan. Letting him go sets a bad example.

This will become cause more bad examples ... Military coup ever been bloodless in Pakistan ... But I am sure after this example it will be bloody ... And most probably within 5 years .............

This only happens in Pakistan that a person, that is not an eligible to be recruited as a soldier even, serves as a "Supreme Commander of Pakistan Armed Forces". Surplus to it, He charge a General that has served Pakistan Army as a COAS. If they imprison/punish a "General", Pakistan Army will find itself in a law formerly alien to it.
PAKISTAN PAINDABAD!

The point is not to create a rift between army and government, but to deter army from governing. They should be made aware that there is a constitution and it must be respected.

This must become rift between both of them ... Because choose & pick justice wouldn't be acceptable for anyone ... They are just trying to Musharraf whereas constitution states the abetters & collaborators will be punished equally for high treason ........

No Sir, the snakes were created, nurtured and sustained by the Pakistan Army as a means of extending its reach into Afghanistan and Kashmir. Due to their short-sighted incompetence, the Army handlers lost control of major factions (the "bad" Taleban) and are still trying to prevent action against the ones they still control (the "good" Taleban), and not realizing the grave consequences of persisting with the delusion.

What goes around comes around!

If Musharraf were kind enough towards your mentioned personalities, nobody would be after his puny arse.

thats a;ll I am saying its personal vendetta and revenge
nothing to do with justice and upholding constitution

only difference is that today this trial is touted as being serving democracy and upholding law whereas its simply a grudge war nothing noble about it.

Ganjaz started it by the way, forbidding his plane from landing and sacking him without any cause and chance to represent himself and nominating a general as COAS that entire military rejected.

sacking him without any cause and chance to represent himself and nominating a general as COAS that entire military rejected.

Isn't it the legal authority of the elected PM to appoint and/or sack the COAS?
