If he accepts the petition then the assembly will accept that under N rule this henious crime happened which will be a black spot on N governance thus can't pass that at all even though the excuse that its provicial matter makes no sense as isn't Punjab under federal. What purpose is the federal if it can't pass resolutions codemning and asking actions against henious crimes... If the senate can pass a resolution regarding this then so can federal.

I haven't read the petition, but I think "technically" it's not admissible. But morally it should be acceptable.

What PTI should've done is, "all over" Pakistan being included so it becomes national matter rather provincial. Singling out Kasur indeed makes it provincial matter on technical ground

APS was provincial matter, but it was accept in National Assembly because of "morals". So if accept APS, why not Kasur?

So you're right, they don't want this black mark on their governance. If it happened in KPK, they'd have accepted it.
