Your economy is always terrible.Thats why you guys burned Chinese alive and looted their properties in Chinese massacre incident.

VN dont need a none TPP member like you.Increase trading with Singapore-Malay-Japan-US is enough to make VN get richer .
We dont wanna be looted & get burned alive like those poor Chinese when your economy get worse:)

No Chinese get burned alive at 1998, there are around 100 native Indonesian that are burned alive at that time. We saved many Conglomerates at 1998-2004 using our government money. If we want, all big businesses are already at government hands until Today. We bailed out many big conglomerate by printing money, and all Indonesian has to pay it by having huge inflation. Doing business is difficult for pious Muslim particularly because we need to bribe some one to get the project. And it is still happening until Today, my brother doing business at telecommunication sector, so I know it is still happening.

Despite that fact many native have huge business as well, like in media or oil and gas sector which is mostly owned by native entrepreneur. In majority their business are in small and medium size one, but overall small and medium size are the backbone of our economy and the one who save us during 1998 crisis. Big conglomerate at old time grow their business by borrowing from abroad, similar like Today.

Oil & gas sector are in bad shape today. VietSo petrol- a VN petroleum company also have to stop the joint venture project in Indonesia .

I hope all Indonesian friends to realise that your domestic market consumtion is not strong enough to protect your economy from another economy crisis like in 1998,specially when you are not allowed to join the TPP.

Yes, oil and gas sector is not performing well Today, but it is normal for businessmen doing business at that sector, they have to reduce the salary of their worker who can be 10 times than average salary of Indonesian worker. Well in term of economy, I feel optimistic about it. Stock Market is also performing well. The best and fair analysis about our economy should come from an institution like OECD or financial firm like Morgan Stanley etc. They are optimistic about us. You should see the report first before talking here, but I do hope the best for Vietnam, I hope this region can be the engine of world growth.

No, Pura is for Singapore. There is much talks with them and ours had more cooperation with them than any other countries in ASEAN region

A single market. It is good. Think about Thai beverage brand in Indonesia market, and vice versa.
People to people. Later Myanmese engineers can find job in Indonesia, etc.

One always needs to think big.

Progress in China-ASEAN FTA talks
English.news.cn 2015-02-06

BEIJING, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- The second round of negotiations on an upgraded China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) has made "notable progress", China's Ministry of Commerce said on Friday.

Service trade, investment, economic cooperation, simplified trade procedures were discussed during the negotiation, the ministry said.

Launched in 2010, CAFTA has become the largest free trade area among developing countries. China proposed "an upgraded version" of CAFTA in September of 2013.

The first round of negotiation began in September last year in Vietnam.

China is ASEAN's largest trading partner, while ASEAN ranks as China's third-largest trading partner. China aims to elevate bilateral trade with ASEAN to 500 billion U.S. dollars by the end of this year and one trillion U.S. dollars by 2020.

our domestic market is huge, more than enough to sustain our economy.

we receive the biggest effect in 1998, because we're too relying in exports. And now, export-relying countries like Russia, Middle east, and Vietnam show signs of crisis.
