South Korean protesters rally against Japan over disputed islands

. .
They sure love to protest. :bunny:

Rather than at Japan, these protesters should be directing their angst towards their own government. According to Thediplomat, it's close to becoming a lot like our own... able to do nothing other than fight and raise their pay. I understand the beef between South Korea and Japan, it's the same as the beefs between each nation in the region, but it's hardly the most pressing or contentious issue facing South Korea at this point. Also, the Americans are staying longer due to a deferment in the transfer of wartime command. I've yet to see much protest about that. Perhaps they want us to stay around?

LOL, did you see the video? They're mostly old people. In the last segment tho , when the caricature of Abe was bowing, they even started signing. Koreans are so creative, LOL.

I'd rather not say anything else. My message to all the Koreans who protested: :bunny::bunny::cray:

Yep, the old hold grudges. The young push forward, dedicated to improving their lives and their lives alone. In the US old people still talk about the Commies, but those too young to remember life during the Cold War feel little ill will towards Russia... at least not until a few months ago.

The peoples of these two nations will never ever get together, not even with an American gun held onto each's neck。:enjoy:

The problem with focusing on protest groups is that they tend to have an extreme agenda. Luckily for us, there are more practical and pragmatic elements in the Korean and Japanese political systems. ;)

What is there to protest about. Last I checked, South Korea has de facto administrative control over those islands.
