though i don't support any grouping against any particular country,but I'm with you on this.China is bullying smaller countries because opponent is weak..if some big powers back these smaller countries,there'll be no way China is going to bully.we must crush China's fang (not economical might,but its expansionist attitude) before it is too late..

So India wants to be a superpower?

India is limited in the SCS just as China would be limited in the Indian Ocean only country that will project power and keep the shipping lanes open is the USA, Through Vietnam Played it smart to improve relations with all but relaying on india alone won't help the Vietnamese know this.

yup..thats true..thats why russia is supplying them missiles,not india.and thats where China objects..because entry on bigger powers in this problem will severely damage China's influence...and not only vietnam,but Philippines too played it well by calling USA in this matter..

Well Philippines and Vietnam have played it well, the chinese mistake was not to solve it peacefully so they brought the USA back into Asia which it was slowly leaving, Either way the SCS won't erupt into a war but now will be a core issue for solving which will bring peace into the region, however even if it's solved the USA will remain in East Asia.

yup..they(china) blew it up for its own greed..and they have no other way except bullying,because no way UNCLOS is going to support China's claim.but they blew it further by calling USA back to the asia.the chances that China is going to be a major player in asia's politics(sort of kingmaker) is now looks dim.it is going to be stalemate.

well,india doesn't have serious problems with china(except border issues)..but they threatened us every now and then with dire consequences on drilling in SCS..also,they also thinks our "Look east" policy is suspicious..but still India son't want to join any groups that is anti-chinese..but there is huge domestic pressure to act on china.

Yes it seems China needs India more then ever, India is probably the only country that can help China Counter the USA.

Lol didn't 200k Chinese soldiers get wiped out by only 50,000 vietnamese? first deal with Vietnam then deal with us you guys can't mobilize any troops or material to the mountains that serve as our border within a couple of hours it would take you weeks to launch such a debacle which would give us plenty of time to shift military operations to the North east and East.

Its the opposite. 30K chinese soldiers went into Vietnam, wiped out 40k vietnamese soldiers, then wiped out 180K civilians. that's why we consider Vietnam easily defeated.
