UNCLOS is for the rest of the world's waters. The South China Sea only has the nine dashed line. That's all everybody needs to know.

After recent world episode, one thing is certain that you are not going to get nine dash line at any cost.

When Chinese or Hua ethnic in Singapore like to say about MASSACRE, Japan can produce the nukes in one month, they can destroy China again and again. Its not yoke.

Malaysia can take back Singapore and deporte you back to Mainland China, no need do MASSACRE on you.

One of the weaknesses of the US getting involved in the SCS situation is that they themselves have not signed the UNCLOS. If the US really wants to get serious about countering Chinese claims and supporting other nations, it must also join UNCLOS. Otherwise, its message will be treated by China and others in the region as basically just talk and no action. I really don't know why the US gov has not ratified it up to this date.
